words can't even describe how horrible the pizza we ordered was 😭 ,Not only was it undercooked for some reason it was burnt , all I can say it I'm unimpressed and sadly it was an online order .

Pantry in Bassonia I had ordered an iced latte and it was very bitter & no sweetener. I approached a barista (Sanele) nicely and he was quick to dismiss me in a rude manner. I had asked him to please add syrup or sweetener because the beverage didn’t have sugar like it’s supposed to. He told me to then add granulated sugar as they don’t have anything to make it sweet. Very expensive drink that I couldn’t even finish, and disappointing service

The lady at the pastry section had such a terrible attitude. Her & her ugly weave. I know I wouldn’t have experienced that if I was white.

I work across from The Pantry and purchase a Capuchino daily from them. Today I was horrified at the till operator that assisted me. I gave her a R100 note, and her reaction was very disgusting, she asked me if I don't 'have a bank card as she doesn't have change, but then she opened her till. I said I don't have cash on my card but cash on me, her reaction was OH my God. I said why are you saying oh my God when you have change in your till then she said how do I know that she has change, so I said your till open I can see, her reaction was awful, she made funny sounds and disgust on her face, I told her you don't treat a customer like this, there was no apology but just disgust on her face. It is so sad to see this. The Pantry is a very upmarket reputable place where my colleagues and I always go grab coffee lunch or snacks and to receive this type of service so early in the morning was so SAD to see. What happened to good old customer service and friendliness... The Pantry please train your stuff courtesy respect and client centricity.

Disappointing food- ordered a prego. Not nearly enough sauce, dry chicken and a small bun all for a whopping R60. Not to mention the expense of the salad bar. Won’t be back. Really sad to see the quality decline

I’m addicted to their banana loaf! Conveniently situated in The Sasol garage and open 24hours. The sandwiches and pizzas are delicious, staff are helpful and obliging. They also bake a variety of breads and cakes.
