We have become regulars at this store. The store is always clean and neat. Good warm vibe. Palesa and the others are friendly, respectful, always smiling and offering to bring our orders to the table. Staff suggest when asked for recommendations and explain- they are patient and attentive. Wifi is a great bonus when needed. PS today 15/5/2024, I phoned to obtain an email address, Brenda answered… very audible, pleasant and thankful for my call to review their store.
Ordered via Uber eats (excellent service from the driver Daniel) The staff at Chateau Gateaux were very helpful. patient and obliging… thank you Sanelesiwe! 4 variety pack cake was very well received as a gift, I’m very pleased the receiver said it was impressive and delicious!
I purchased the wrist BP monitor 10/10/2022 at 15.56, for a very close family member who suffered a stroke hence the wrist monitor is ideal for self checks. Monitor was received 12/10/2022 06.21,😀 with much appreciation. Excellent service and advice was received from Brendan Budden, he was very obliging and advised accordingly. Purchasing online was very simple. Email communication for updates on the order was super efficient, including the courier service by The Courier Guy, whereby I could track the order directly from the email link of Yourlife shop. The wrist BP monitor is a neat and easy to use gadget with large fonts.
I’m addicted to their banana loaf! Conveniently situated in The Sasol garage and open 24hours. The sandwiches and pizzas are delicious, staff are helpful and obliging. They also bake a variety of breads and cakes.
I use the Drop box service, which supposed to be overnight courier- very disappointed! The parcel does not get collected at 15.00 or later, it is collected the next day… after numerous enquires! As of recently one has to create a digital (waybill) request on your phone. An sms is sent to your number - there is a link whereby you can check whether your parcel was collected or chat with the “Bot” this is all very well…it’s only when you get through to an online consultant the irritation starts! I was on that platform for an hour still no satisfactory answers! All they say is they are checking their system is not picking up my entry YET IT IS DIGITAL AND THEIR SMS STATED THAT I DROP THE PARCEL INTO THE BOX! Also their collectors should know or be notified of the package to be collected at whatever sight since their system is “digital”. I genuinely find this company employees MAKE EXCUSES! as this was not the first time this has happened. The charge (R100) is reasonable but be prepared to wait 2-3 days for the parcel to be delivered!
I am extremely pleased with the service of BigFoot Express courier. I phoned in with dimensions and weight for an approximate quotation, was happy with quote and asked for collection. The parcel was collected extremely late (18.11) on Monday 30/5/2022, from a Johannesburg suburb. It was delivered at 10.22 the next day in Shallcross, Durban! I must add the driver and his assistant were very polite and apologetic for the late collection- mainly due to traffic and power outages. The online tracking service is very efficient and user friendly. I am in awe of the digital signature that is supplied as well, after delivery. The COD payment system is baffling - because the company is so trusting of clients - I received the proforma invoice on 31/5/2022, for the quoted price. However the parcel was already on route for delivery! I paid EFT hours later! Overall a huge thank you for being reliable and efficient.
Misleading advert: the new chicken prego “burger” I received buttered bun, chicken fillet and a few onion rings with chips! No sauce oozing! I have written to Nando’s customer care included photos, and received a phone call from the store... only to say we are sorry! I said, I don’t want anything for nothing, just fix the problem- make it like the advert especially for the customer that will order in future.
Highly recommend Cassims & Co (Jewellers) Mall of the South - interaction 4 July 2021 I would like to express my gratitude for the exceptionally professional service rendered by this Jeweller. Edward, pleasant and attentive assisted me by helping me choose the style of letters. I had engraving done on a baby brooch, the order was completed- but I realised later that the spelling I gave was incorrect. For the jeweller - It was no trouble at all, he eagerly redid the engraving at no cost to me! It looks beautiful and of great standard! I’m so glad for their WHATSAPP communication - this helped me correct my error immediately. The quality and standard of craftsmanship was awesome! They surely take pride in their work. #WIN
I would like to extend my gratitude, and highly recommend Dewald (Dan’s Towing), I had relatives who were lost, stranded and had car problems in Uniondale,Western Cape, on 15/5/2021. Dewald was phoned from Johannesburg at midnight, to help. He did not hesitate but agreed to go out in bad weather to assist, not even discussing any payment or rewards! He towed the vehicle to the safety of the SAPS station, for the guys to rest. He advised them regarding the car problem and was offering to help the next day, should the problem persist, still not asking for any fees. Dewald is absolutely kind, helpful and a generous person. Wonderful service!! May your business prosper!!
I was helped by Gavin, in January 2021, the cartridges were very reasonably priced and delivered for free because I purchased two. Thanks for great service and advice.
