No products to make orders

We were at Roadhouse 2.0 on 31 July 2024 to order some dinner. We received the menu and decided on footlong russian rolls. The lady took our order just to return and inform us there is only 1 bun for the footlongs, we then ordered hamburgers instead and a while later another lady came to inform us that they do not have buns at all. We left and got food elsewhere.

My question is what eatery does not have buns on month end when take out places are at their busiest
