This refers to Rockefellers Cape Town. I was booked in for 2 nights during July, which was paid in advance. I arrived late at night, the building looked nice from the outside and the decor was also quite nice. The hotel was however still under construction. There was no DSTV, if you wanted to watch Netflix, you had to use your own account. There was no tea or coffee station in the room and the view from the widow was a rubble site. There was no room service either. The next morning I received an emergency call to return to Johannesburg, which I did. To this day I have not received any compensation for the day and night I did not spend there, due to circumstances beyond my control. This is totally unacceptable and I would like a response from the management . Do not stay there ! PS; they don’t have parking either.
