I bought a voucher when Thyme Kitchen had a sale in mid 2021. That is valid for a year as far as I was informed by Kobus the owner. I wanted to redeem my voucher Easter by struggled to get hold of them. The never responded to my emails and when he finally responded to a whatapp advised that they were closed. I sent Thyme Kitchen my order on the 3rd May in another attempt to redeem my voucher and requested if I could have my lamb on 8th May for mothers day. I asked to be advised if this was in order. On the morning of the 4th May I received a response. "You can can collect at 12" I at the same time arranged that I would drop my own chafing dish the Saturday as I did not want to rush to return theirs on Sunday. That was the only communication with Kobus. My husband dropped the chafing dish Saturday and no one answered the door. I then whatapped Kobus the owner to ask if anyone was home and oh my word his absolute rudeness left me astounded and this for the owner of the business. He proceeded to tell me that I cannot just drop by unannounced and that I just wanted my way. He further had the nerve to tell me that he had full paying customers. He proceeded to be sarcastic and told me I could come and get my delish food Sunday. I should have canceled my order at that pointed and insisted on my money back. On Sunday my husband collected the order and it was all but delicious. He out of spitefulness gave me the tough, fatty, boney part of the lamb you could hardly get a decent piece of meat out and it wasn't enough to feed 10 people. I will never refer or use Thyme Kitchen again. Kobus has no customer service skills and even my poor husband got a very cold attitude on Sunday when he collected the meat

Terrible experience. Booked a spitbraai and after paying the deposit - nothing. Many attempts to contact Kobus via email, Facebook, website, phone messages - no response. Every attempt has been ignored yet I still receive spam emails from them. Will open a case of theft as that is what this is. Avoid them at all cost.

my husband is celebrating his birthday in June and I decided to do something special for him. i googled spitbraai companies in and around the Northern Suburbs and then came across hyperli with a special for a spitbraai for 20 people with Thyme Kitchen. i was delighted and i immediately purchased the voucher. the very same day , 8th May, i sent an email to book the date for my husbands birthday and attached the voucher from hyperli. i did not get any response then decided to contact the number provided this morning (being 2 days later, friday 10th May). the guy that answered the cell phone number provided ********** 373, was not very friendly or helpful to say the least. initially i thought i dialled the wrong the number as he asked what its for when i mentioned the email sent 2 days ago. he then put the phone down and i phoned again..... when i called the second time, i asked what the turn around time is for a response to a client via email? he did not answer and asked to which email... for hyperli or to us! i asked is there a difference? surely business is business...? when i said hyperli he said sorry we fully booked until the end of June. i said so you basically had no intention of replying my email and would just have left me hanging, and have me waste my money? i said whether hyperli or direct customer it should not matter. Business is business. he said well, take it up with hyperli and put the phone down on me. i was extremely annoyed at this point and i could only contact hyperli via an online email. however, they did respond immendiately and apologised for the terrible service experienced by the merchaant. I honestly dont see why hyperli even does business with these people. i have never experienced such bad attitude from anyone in customer service before. So basically, because I bought a voucher through hyperli for a service to be provided, he basically treated me with such arrogance and disrespect and being discriminative towards me. I suppose if i went directly through the company , he would have pretended to be kind and friendly . what pathetic service!!!!

I've purchased a Hyperli deal for a 10Kg lamb pack.

I've been trying to contact Thyme Kitchen for the last few days using ********** which doesn't work, ********** where there is no answer and another number I found googling them ********** which also does not get answered. I've tweeted them, emailed them at ********** with no response, read receipts or delivery receipts...

Now the voucher has expired and I don't know what to do besides physically going to there premises.

Why offer a service/product that you cannot fulfil? What happens to my voucher which has now expired?

Not a great experience with either Thyme Kitchen and Hyperli
