Bought the tiles on 19 August at Centurion branch and to date by end of October we still we had not received the tiles.The invoice states delivery date of 24 August and we called the Centurion branch beginning of September and was informed there was a misunderstanding the tiles will only be ready end of the month of September. 30 September still there was no tiles delivered and we called the branch and the sales person rudely says that the tiles are only scheduled for production on the 7th of October and I must remember my “tile fitter”does not only have my house to do he has other jobs(as if that has anything to do with tiles of Italy failing to deliver the tiles in time promised) We paid R41 000 in cash and don’t owe anything on these tiles and when we asked for the tiles delivery I get promised month after month. She said tiles will be ready end of September when I call exactly end of September to check what’s going on she was rude tells me my house is not the only house they tiler is busy with... something that is none of her business
Three months later at end of October after back and forth, we eventually got hold of the owner and asked for refund for the tiles since they failed to deliver. We got paid only R15 000 of the R41 000 beginning of Nov and a few days later received a further R16 000. When we enquired about the rest of money the owner said we must contact the store for a reconciliation and now they are ignoring our emails, calls and sms.Still owing us the rest of the money and it is today 11th Nov 2020 for the money paid in cash in August 2020. When I told the owner that I will take this further up in the organization he then said well he is the “owner” implying that I have no where else to go.
