Took the Discovery for service in the morning and afternoon when I went to fetch the car I was told my car windscreen had a chip, which was not there when we dropped the car in the morning . The check-in checklist doesn’t show the chip but the Workdshop Manager insists there was a chip when the car went into the workshop. When I asks why did we both see it when we checked in the car in the morning and it’s not even marked on the checklist they have no snswer. The chip(a long line from top of the car all the way down) it couldn’t have been missed by the owner and the person who completed the check in checklist. When I raised the issue they all(Owner, Manager, Workshop artisan) said different stories. The 1st one who did a check in list in the morning said the chip happened because the car was on the Sun the whole day hence he did not mark it in the morning checklist, the other one said he saw the chip when he took the car for test driving and the other one said there was no chip in the workshop. All contradicting stories but the owner insists the chip was there when the car came in. Liars liars liars Everyone in that workshop came with a story which was different from the previous person when there is a clear evidence of a checklist which doesn’t say anything about the long chip on the windscreen when the car was checked in. Owner/Workshop manager refused to fix the windscreen.
Bought the tiles on 19 August at Centurion branch and to date by end of October we still we had not received the tiles.The invoice states delivery date of 24 August and we called the Centurion branch beginning of September and was informed there was a misunderstanding the tiles will only be ready end of the month of September. 30 September still there was no tiles delivered and we called the branch and the sales person rudely says that the tiles are only scheduled for production on the 7th of October and I must remember my “tile fitter”does not only have my house to do he has other jobs(as if that has anything to do with tiles of Italy failing to deliver the tiles in time promised) We paid R41 000 in cash and don’t owe anything on these tiles and when we asked for the tiles delivery I get promised month after month. She said tiles will be ready end of September when I call exactly end of September to check what’s going on she was rude tells me my house is not the only house they tiler is busy with... something that is none of her business Three months later at end of October after back and forth, we eventually got hold of the owner and asked for refund for the tiles since they failed to deliver. We got paid only R15 000 of the R41 000 beginning of Nov and a few days later received a further R16 000. When we enquired about the rest of money the owner said we must contact the store for a reconciliation and now they are ignoring our emails, calls and sms.Still owing us the rest of the money and it is today 11th Nov 2020 for the money paid in cash in August 2020. When I told the owner that I will take this further up in the organization he then said well he is the “owner” implying that I have no where else to go.
Bad Service- Discovery Insure don’t want to fix my car at an approved repairer and want to take my car to a repairer that is not on the list of approved repairers for the brand of my car.They chose a repairer that has nothing to do with my car brand and are insisting that I take my car there or else I should fix my Car on my Own. When I asked them why they don’t take my car to an approved repairer for my car brand they told me that It’s because my car is out of warranty. I then asked for a clause that says cars out of warranty should go to any repairer they could not produce that. By the way, my car went out of warranty in Jan 2020 and I’m still paying the same premium I’ve been paying when it was still in warranty and even got my premium increased in 2019 but now when my car must be fixed I am told of the car out of warranty. Six weeks since the accident and I’m still waiting for resolution on my claim.......Been sending emails and calls everyday with no luck
Ordered shoes online and three weeks later I still did not receive my order. When I called to enquire no one knew where my order was and the person I spoke to tried to get away by saying my order was delivered which was a lie. Two days after my enquiry I got an email saying my order (4pairs of shoes) was stolen and they will be refunding me in 4 days.Today its 6 days later and I still haven't received my refund! Really disappointed
