I made cash payment of R20 000 in October 2020 for mosaic tiles which I was later advised were not in stock. I returned the following day to collect my money, however was told it had been banked with the previous day’s takings and no cash was kept on site. Was told a refund would be processed and credited to my account. Followed up with the store assistant after the initial time frame indicated for refund had lapsed, she informed me the delay was due to variance in my bank and theirs and said I should give it a few more days. After another week, refund had still not be honored and I followed up only to be referred to the business owner. Business owner demanded that I submit a tax clearance in order for the refund to be processed. Albeit this being irregular, I proceeded with submitting tax clearance certificate. I was told yet again it would take 7 days for the refund to be processed. I have sent a series of follow up messages, none of which have been responded to, neither have I been credited back the R20 000. It is March 2021 and my phone calls go unanswered and messages are read with no acknowledgement. I have escalated with the relevant authorities as it is improper business conduct withholding payment for goods/ services that have not been delivered. I’ve been sent from pillar to post and would discourage anyone from dealing with such unscrupulous businesses as such.

They sell tiles that they don’t have I ordered tiles for R25 000 for the past four weeks with no delivery what so ever they are taking me from pillar to post I m now suing them for my refund. DO NOT BUY AT TILES OF ITALY you will regret they should actually close their business. Thank Sipho Modzuka

They sell tiles that they don’t have I ordered tiles for R25 000 for the past four weeks with no delivery what so ever they are taking me from pillar to post I m now suing them for my refund. DO NOT BUY AT TILES OF ITALY you will regret they should actually close their business. Thank Sipho Modzuka

I won a Bathroom Makeover worth R20 000which the prize was never honoured only to be offered R5000which I turned down, the company used my name and photos to advertise the winner cin the media but never got back to media to say tgey did not award the prize

Bought the tiles on 19 August at Centurion branch and to date by end of October we still we had not received the tiles.The invoice states delivery date of 24 August and we called the Centurion branch beginning of September and was informed there was a misunderstanding the tiles will only be ready end of the month of September. 30 September still there was no tiles delivered and we called the branch and the sales person rudely says that the tiles are only scheduled for production on the 7th of October and I must remember my “tile fitter”does not only have my house to do he has other jobs(as if that has anything to do with tiles of Italy failing to deliver the tiles in time promised) We paid R41 000 in cash and don’t owe anything on these tiles and when we asked for the tiles delivery I get promised month after month. She said tiles will be ready end of September when I call exactly end of September to check what’s going on she was rude tells me my house is not the only house they tiler is busy with... something that is none of her business Three months later at end of October after back and forth, we eventually got hold of the owner and asked for refund for the tiles since they failed to deliver. We got paid only R15 000 of the R41 000 beginning of Nov and a few days later received a further R16 000. When we enquired about the rest of money the owner said we must contact the store for a reconciliation and now they are ignoring our emails, calls and sms.Still owing us the rest of the money and it is today 11th Nov 2020 for the money paid in cash in August 2020. When I told the owner that I will take this further up in the organization he then said well he is the “owner” implying that I have no where else to go.

Worst customer experience, Placed order at Centurion on 02/11/2020 and was promised to receive order by Thursday i.e. 05/11/2020 and today is 09//11/2020 and still haven't received my order till now... If you cant fulfil don't give false promises, coz of delay i have paid my tiler 3 days amount for nothing... I'll never recommend them as this will cost customers money and time Got message from them on Saturday that tiles will be delivered on Monday and then received a call Monday evening that delivery truck tyre burst, got too much load for delivery, and they think its my/customers problem? shame that such responses were provided for delivery failures

NAME: Tiles of Italy PRODUCT THEY SELL: Tiles of INDIA!! I raised the problem with the NO NAME cheap tiles in July and we are almost in November. GRANT BURROWS is apparently the owner who makes appointments and never shows up. He sells cheap, bad quality products. There is not even a name on the box. They sell it as a special in the shop but I dont even think it is a special. They just want you to think you are buying good quality at a good price. After moving into our house in July the tiles started making marks. Some like a oil stain and some black stripes. Not scratches. I contacted them in July and they only showed up to the third or fourth appointment. When the guy was suppose to come I had a feeling he wont show so I phoned to confirm just to find out he doesnt work there anymore so I would have waited AGAIN for nothing! Finally someone shows up with a rep and some cleaning stuff. We tried and tried but still the marks come back after a day or so. They make an appointment to which they dont show again but at least the rep showed up. They reschedule for today at 10h30 so this GRANT BURROWS can come himself. I make all my plans for the day around them coming just to find out now he wont be able to make it and wants to reschedule for Monday again. WHY AM I STILL SURPRISED????

I"m totally ****ed off with this company they used my vehicles to do the deliveries and to date I haven't been paid and all I get is stories that grant who is the owner hasn't paid yet daily we deliver stock for over 20k daily its so sad how the use small companies to do work for them yet they can't pay they shout and swear you when you run late with a delivery but now time to pay they give you the chase I haven't been paid in over a month since I did deliveries for tiles to Italy this company is so full of it and come to think of it you wonder why people still say white-owned business are racial #IWANTMYMONEY
