Very unprofessional and slow law firm. I would not recommend you use their services. It took close to a year to finalize a sale of a property. I've never dealt with such nonchalant so called professionals in my life. Spare yourself the agony.

I was shocked when when I arrived home from work a personal letter was pushed through my gate bars with no envelope....this was a letter from the sheriff and was eft just like that through my gate bars, my question is how can you guys do something like this without a envelope....so anyone could have had a look at that letter and put it back! This is absolutely unprofessional and you guys supposed to be using the POPI ACT which is protection of personal information. I'm am very shocked and dissatisfied with your services.

My husband had a Will with Absa and upon his demise Absa Trust selected this attorney to transfer the properties to me. They charged thousand of rands, instructing the Absa Trust Estate Late administrator to make payments without confirming with me and was not confirming the amounts with me only to realise they were paying amounts that was much higher and they were paying themselves much more as well. When they required documents Marlen would e-mail me to drop it off at their offices and I kept on telling her that I work from home and she then arranged courier to fetch it but once they so call finalised the transfer she was going to post original documents home and when I requested to courier they could not do it that Absa Estate late arranged to be couriered, wanting to post original property documents...which reputable company does that these days knowing how unsecure and unsafe postal service are? Me being the person not clued how much they are supposed to be paid as being an Absa staff and getting staff rates I really don't think this was the case seeing the amount that they were charged were not discounted amounts as i queried with attorneys in this field. They were also to have the properties transferred to my name with the municipalities and three and a half years later they have not sorted this out and when queried I was communicated via e-mail by a lady named Marlene Pieterse that I must personally go to the municipality and follow up so my question was you were the transferring attorneys, charging an amount I still feel was unreasonable, charging and paying the municipality and asking me to go to the municipality of all places and do the job that you got paid to do. Please ensure that your financial advisor does not use these attorneys.

These attorneys failed to verify my documents from FNB that had a discrepancy of an interest rate. The initial documents from FNB at an interest rate of 11.40% which I based my decision on to accept the home loan & even signed off, was no longer the same as on the documents that they sent with the commissioner reflecting an interest rate of 13.50% for me to sign off in order for the bond to be registered. Upon signing the documents with the commissioner who was in a hurry for another client, I asked if the documents from FNB were the same & I got told yes. When I send them an email to the Tim Du Toit Attorneys they reverted indicating that the onus was on me to verify the documents which doesn't make sense for me since these services they are suppose to render.

Do not use T Du Toit attorneys(PE) as transferring attorneys they are the most unprofessional as well as delay attorneys ever , they have been busy with my transfer for the past 8 months , each time delaying the matter further due to oversight on their part . This has lead to several costs incurred on my side without compensation from them , further more they continue to issue me with other correspondences without addressing my issues raised or providing a definite date of when the actual transfer will occur. I have reported them to the Bar as well but this will take months to effectively occur and an outcome received. Stay Away as you will regret using them...

Excellent customer service, went the extra mile to assist us with a very complicated sales transaction. They went out of their way to give immediate attention to the matter and provide us with the assistance necessary. This is highly appreciated, considering they are such a sizeable firm.

i actually expected something along this lines from them but i guess the reality of them stooping that low is such a big blow. they claim they send me summons in november or october, yet they do not have the proof of return what shocked me more was when Ayesha claimed that the summons were attched to my door, which now mean the sherif actually jumped over my fence to get to my door! see sometimes people's lies do get them in a corner , i know William is very shady but for the whole team to be this skanky! this says a lot about absa as a bank and the companies they assocoate with. Now this Ayesha of a character is rude and shouting at me for requesting proof she said yesterday today she has an attitude of a cow saying she will send it when enever what thw hell
