Bad service. Excitement gone to waste!

Won a vacation (in January 2018) voucher valid for a year. We chose Beacon Island as our destination and paid the relevant deposit to secure the voucher as requested - within 30 days. Called in to ask if they received the deposit as well as the date in which we had planned to go for our vacation, which was for March 2018.Unfortunately, we were told to wait upon their schedule to be emailed to us to choose available dates thereof. As per their schedule - we booked again for another date. Received an email from them and were asked to deposit a fee to secure our accommodation, which we did. However, til date (October 2018) we are told that Beacon Island is fully booked for the year 2018 until end of February 2019.Mind you, our voucher expires in February 2019.Someone please tell me what was the whole purpose of winning this voucher?!
