I enquired about a demo Toyota Hilux, and the salesperson confirmed that the vehicle was still available. When I wanted to view the vehicle on Monday, I was informed that it was currently out. I explicitly confirmed that I wanted the vehicle and requested that it not be sold, and I further asked that the purchase documentation be initiated. After the salesperson went silent and failed to send any documentation or request the required information from my side, I drove from Witbank to the dealership to speak to him in person. I was then informed that the vehicle had been sold and that he was unaware of this. This is unacceptable. How can sales representatives not know the status of vehicles they are selling, especially after confirming a customer’s intent to purchase? To try and “rectify” the situation, I was offered a more expensive vehicle with fewer extras, which is not an acceptable solution. I sincerely hope Toyota South Africa takes note of this experience. Is this the level of service Toyota now considers acceptable? I have been a loyal Toyota customer for many years and currently own nine Hilux bakkies. Experiences like this make one seriously question whether it is time to consider the blue oval instead.

Excellent and selfless service from Michelle Botha. She is a true example of personalised customer service. Went out of her way to ensure all has gone smooth, five times in a row that I have been dealing with her when taking my car for service. Keep up the good work

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to one of the best employees by the name Ricardo at Toyota half way in four ways, working under the workshop department. The gentleman has facilitated and coordinated a very smooth process for me to be refunded by the dealer after paying a specific amount for a car service which was supposed to be paid by innovation group and they couldn't authorise because the car was serviced over the weekend when they are not operational. Riccardo would now and then update me on the progress report of the claiming process whenever I call him. The amount has been fully refunded into my bank account today. Thank you

The best buying experience all round. We've driven and owned all the big German and some other cars. Quite by accident, we ended up at Halfway Toyota Fourways. We were very glad we took the time to look around at the vehicles on the floor - assisted by Johan Van Amersfoort. We had no idea how broad the Toyota range was, nor how well-appointed the vehicles were at every level. We ended up taking a great, second-hand SUV in excellent condition - and what a car! The value proposition is just unreal. Coupled with the extensive warranty options and the brilliant build quality, we could not be happier. The dealership was extremely generous in a number of respects, and we see this as a massive win-win dynamic to the extent that we are now Toyota converts. Specifically, Halfway Toyota converts! The buying experience was just head and shoulders above what we had come to experience elsewhere. To highlight the great people who assisted us: - Johan Van Amersfoort managed the sale, and Silondiwe Kubheka kindly facilitated the finance application and engaged with us regularly. If you haven't been to Halfway Toyota Fourways, I strongly recommend that you do and speak to Johan. You will be very glad that you did.

After purchasing the Toyota Starlet Xi with custom rims, I enquired with the dealer about the retail price of the old rims which are in my possession. I enquired 3 times with little to no assistance. Very poor service during the purchasing process as well. Little to no response to financial queries but very quick to assist when you sign the contarct. Would not recommend, rather deal with Toyota Durban, much more helpful staff who at least put me in contact with someone who could assist.

I have opened a legal case against these Pathetic These *****s called Halfway Fourways due to ********* and ******* business practice I took my car in for a free diagnosis. I dropped it on 23 Mar 24 in my personal capacity and I signed for all the paper work. Die klomp naaiers decide that they are not going to contact me - and proceeded to work on my vehicle without my consent nor authorisation as the customer. Mind you I sent them 2 emails asking for a quotation and explicitly stated in the email that they should not touch my vehicle/ perform any work on it until I receive the quotation. Because as the client I cannot enter into an agreement before even seeing and agreeing to the price. This is not rocket science it’s covered in a 1st year law module. I was actually notified by tracker that my car is being tampered with - honestly I should’ve reported my vehicle ****** at that point. Because how do you do as you please on someone’s legal property without their consent ? The only communication I received from them after being ignored was an invoice shy of R10k which they expected me to pay ??? Excuse me ??? I need somebody to point me to any Law or Act that says this is legal under - I will wait. The terrible trio I dealt with are the 2 managers which did not bother to say anything or Adress this matter to date Amanda Haywood & Tiaan Combrinck and then the advisor Ricardo Carls. Nevermind that they have taken no accountability- they did not even have the decency to extend an apology for the BS I was subjected to. I’m tired of these of these institutions thinking they can just continuously undermine young black women and get away with it. I will be seeing you lot in court !!!

Really bad service from the salesman Albert showed me around and I did a finance application which was approved and was told I can collect the car the next day. Two hours later he phoned me saying unfortunately the car was sold by another sales person. But not to worry. I mustn’t go to another dealership he will source a car for me. After many follow ups he never sourced a Starlet nor he phoned me back. I will not buy a car from them
