Avoid buying TP-Link products.
Purchased a TP-Tapo robot vacuum, the clip that hds the mop broke off and I am unable to get a replacement from TP-Link, they don't even reply to my emails. I paid one R8000 for this product and am I expected to just throw it away and buy a new one. Their customer service is trash and I will never buy any of their products again. I would advise anyone to think twice before buying from them. I promise you will be wasting your money.

05 Feb 2026, 08:38It's now been nearly a year since my last review. And I can say with confidence I am still just as disappointed in this company and their products as ever. I have completely stopped using this robot vacuum, even though it technically "works", it is completely unable to keep a map, it's always going into areas that I set as off limits, the maps delete/edit/randomly modify themselves so the vacuum almost never knows where it is or what it's doing. The reason for my initial complaint was that the mop attachment broke and couldn't be replaced, was because this vacuum will ignore the no-go zones you set and go there anyway because it rarely even knows where it is. Don't buy garbage from this company, there are so many better brands out there.
