I visited the Nedbank branch in Northmead square to try and get assistance relating to Nedbank/MFC. I arrived at the branch around mid day and there was only one staff member in sight busy assisting one customer. So my wife and I took a ticket number and sat in the waiting area right in the middle of the branch. After waiting for 35 minutes a queue had formed at the door and we noticed staff coming out of the woodwork, seemingly returning from lunch or something. We watched for another 15 minutes as they began assisting people at the door and completely ignoring us. We assumed that the ticket system would determine the order of assistance, but that's not the case. Eventually I stood up and asked the lady that was assisting people if she could help us. She pretended like she didn't see us sitting there even though I watched her looking over at us several times. I asked for the manager and was told the manager (Thabie Msiza) wasn't there. She acted like I was an inconvenience to her and like I was wasting her time. Maybe the lack of supervision is why the staff seem to just do what they want and come and go as they please. I ended up spending over an hour waiting in their branch only to be told they can't assist with my issue.
December last year I settled the finance on my car and to date I am yet to receive my original NATIS documents. I have emailed their care@mfc.co.za address how many times now and they simply don't even reply. I went to a Nedbank branch to see if I could get help there and they told me there's nothing they can do. I will never finance a vehicle through MFC again. There are so many better options and I should have listened when other people told me MFC has no customer service before I decided to go with them.
Purchased a TP-Tapo robot vacuum, the clip that hds the mop broke off and I am unable to get a replacement from TP-Link, they don't even reply to my emails. I paid one R8000 for this product and am I expected to just throw it away and buy a new one. Their customer service is trash and I will never buy any of their products again. I would advise anyone to think twice before buying from them. I promise you will be wasting your money.
Telkom mobile sold my MTN number to someone else on a prepaid Sim card. This other person has now been trying to log into WhatsApp using my number and telkom says there's nothing they can do about it. I got a call today from someone trying to reach their sister on her new phone number which turns out to by my exact number. How can they possibly not be able to fix this? is this some inside job to bypass the Rica system?
I contacted LMG pre-owned to enquire about a mercedes-benz they were selling that I was very interested in. I made contact by sending them a message via Autotrader.co.za and a sales person phoned me the same day. He confirmed the car is available and asked if I had a trade in, I told him I might trade in my Kia Koup and his attitude immediately changed. For some reason he said he would send me pictures and phone me back. I never heard from him again. What I didn't tell him was that I planned to pay cash for the Mercedes and I might privately sell the Kia if the trade in amount was too low. I feel like he judged me based on the fact that the Kia is not a "luxury car" and immediately lost interest in me thinking I couldn't afford the Mercedes. He also had a very brash demeanor over the phone and did not talk to me in a professional manner. I would recommend you think twice before buying a vehicle from this establishment
I recently purchased PC components from Evetech and I would like to congratulate them on their impeccable customer service, my order was severely delayed on the courier's side due to Covid. This would normally be fine except that this specific courier company refused to respond to any of my emails and when I was able to get through to their customer service they would simply place me on hold and then hang up. Evetech however responded promptly to my emails and worked actively to get me the information I needed. Good work guys.
Their service is absolutely appalling. Their driver will arrive at your house, make no effort to notify you that he is there and then simply leave. Then it takes them 3 days to reschedule your delivery. Am I supposed to use telepathy to know that the delivery is at my gate? He doesn't even attempt to use the intercom. This has already happened 3 times!
The FNB share investing online platform seems to be offline again today. these outages on their servers are literally costing me thousands of Rands now. I think it's time I move to a different share trading platform.
