I had asked Truecaller to stop sending me multiple adverts daily on my cell phone with the message: 'Spam protection disabled. Allow Truecaller to identify numbers and block calls'. I did not download the app or sign up to Truecaller so it is a lie to say that it was disabled. I sent them numerous emails telling them to stop sending me their adverts but they persist - they are a law unto their own it seems. I have reported them to the Direct Marketing Association of South Africa (they don't seem to be members).
