I had asked Truecaller to stop sending me multiple adverts daily on my cell phone with the message: 'Spam protection disabled. Allow Truecaller to identify numbers and block calls'. I did not download the app or sign up to Truecaller so it is a lie to say that it was disabled. I sent them numerous emails telling them to stop sending me their adverts but they persist - they are a law unto their own it seems. I have reported them to the Direct Marketing Association of South Africa (they don't seem to be members).
I had the displeasure of choosing Webafrica as my ISP for fibre. VUMA installed but Webafrica did not provide their router and debited me willy nilly. I cancelled after many chats with bots or chatboxes. I returned the VUMA router to the address Webafrica gave me. They debited me for it and now want to hand me over. I cannot talk to anybody (you can talk to a sales agent but no-one else). They owe me R239 for a debit they made that I forgot to reverse. If you want to have an unpleasant experience, they are the company to choose. Oh, and if you start a chat with a Bot and need to be transferred to another Bot (which happened MANY times), the new Bot does NOT look at the previous chats so I had to start all over again, until I refused.
I think I have had the wool pulled over my eyes. I bought a new Suzuki Ciaz end of October last year. I reported a vibrating mirror that I learnt afterwards (not from Suzuki) was coming from the vibrating windshield. Suzuki were not at all interested in sorting out the problem. Eventually in March, I think, of this year I got a call to say that they have found that all Ciaz models have the issue and they don’t know what they can do about it. That was the last I heard from Suzuki. My car had to go to panelbeaters a week ago and the loan car that I got was a Suzuki Ciaz. It did NOT have a vibrating mirror. I am sure Suzuki know this and don’t want to deal with my issue. They are very good at selling cars but if you have a problem, be warned!
I don't even want to give them a rating but Hello Peter forces me to in order to write a review. I moved from a residential abode to a retirement village. The last week of January I cancelled my Premium DSTV connection. Today, Sunday the 7th DSTV disconnected me even though the retirement village had sent through notification AND debited me for the business package to run from the 1st February. My residential package ran from the 7th of each month. I called DSTV this morning. The agent said that he had escalated it and that I would have a picture within "30 to 45 minutes". I went out and came back 2 hours later. No picture. So I called again, only to be told that I had to phone a different number as I was now on a business package. So I called the number. I got told: As I hadn't cancelled my R20 insurance on the residential Premium package, the agent in accounts said that she could not do anything as this had not been cancelled. I told her that when I cancelled my subscription in the last week of January, I was not told to make a call to the insurance company to cancel the R20 insurance. The account agent said I also had to send her the reference number of payment. I told her that it was a Sunday and nobody was in the office to assist. So, due to the fact that DSTV did not tell me to cancel my insurance separately to cancelling my DSTV Premium insurance, and because I could not provide a payment reference number, I would stay disconnected!!! DSTV also have not credited me a weeks subscription as my old one ran from the 7th to the 7th , and the new one from the 1st to the 1st. YET THEY STILL CJOOSE TO DISCONNECT ME!!!!!!!!! IF I HAD A CHOICE I WOULD TELL dstv TO GO AND TAKE THE LONGEST HIKE. THEY ARE THE MOST ARROGANT, INCOMPETENT COMPANY AROUND WHO JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY WITH NO SERVICE!
Wantitall advertise LifeMel at R2,330 which they say is a saving of 22% off the normal selling price of R2,970 They also advertise EnergyMel at R2,630; if you buy 2 you get 1 free. Health shops in Johannesburg sell LifeMel at an average price of R950!!!! Wantitall price: R2,630 !!!!! Health shops in Johannesburg sell Energy Mel for an average price of R450 vs R2,630 from Wantitall!!! The distributor, Equilibrium Foods has a suggested selling price of R950 for LifeMel and R450 forEnergyMel. Wantitall are absolute ripoffs.
At the end of March 2017 I paid a DSTV accredited installer R699 for DSTV. I had just moved into a residential hotel. I gave the installer R699 and I got a signal in my room. I paid him and he left. Months later I started getting ERR 48-32 being an installation problem. I used to unplug and plug a number of times. This often worked, but for less than a day. About a month ago, a friend from the hotel was in my room and saw my ERR message. He traced the cable outside and he said we should go onto the roof (I had never been before). He showed me how my DSTV cables were hooked to an old dish. I phoned DSTV and asked what I got for R699 and that's when I learnt that the price included cabling, dish 2 things that he did not supply or install (cable). Long story short, he came twice and I still have poor signal etc. On the 10th November I phoned DSTV and lodged a complaint. I was told that it was being referred to a "field" office or something. On Wednesday morning, as I had not heard back, I spoke to a supervisor Prudence. He said she would get back to me after 1pm. I asked her if I should hold my breath. She said I could. I have phoned on a few occassion and have yet to hear back from her or anyone from DSTV. There is no time limit on a con job which is what the installer did and DSTV , by ignoring my issue show their arrogance. I have the premium bouquet and I am not getting the signal that I pay them for.
