Dishonest Landlady
Cheryl Jansen (Candy), please take responsibility for your error. Correct your exit inspection report in respect of B402 Tableview, Western Cape and request that dishonest landlady - Maryka Winterbach refund the R3,100 due to me.

DISHONEST PROPERTY OWNERS
maryka_w@yahoo.com Bachelor flat, sea facing, Tableview owner withholds money from departing tenant, claiming that the old and damaged formica - laminate kitchen counter top needs to be replaced however, sufficient evidence by Defy Service Agent, Clint Ascott stated that the Defy Slimline Hob installation is NON Compliant. Newly appointed agent - Cheryl Jansen - Trust Property Tableview, has not bothered to compare the incoming inspection with the outgoing inspection. Tenant departed unit on 26 June and only received a response from Maryka Winterbach on 14 July with claim of portion of R17,000 deposit (which includes interest from 18 October 2021 to June 2023) A case is being opened with the Housing Tribunal, Cape Town

Want to pay account not received after indicating will only charge partial
We have never received over a twelve month period a bill for rates and taxes. Then when we moved out and wanted to get our deposit back, they admitted they only now received the bill from the owner, they made a mistake and will only require us to pay the last two months, as it was their mistake. Then they backtracked and said we have to pay the full 12 months of rates and taxes to the value of R25000

Trust Property Time Wasters.
What a waste of time. I would recommend using another company when looking for a rental. Made us believe we had secured the property and two days before month end we were informed we were 'too late' Now we have lost out on another 2 properties that we should have gone for.
