I would stay far away from Trust Solar. It is definitely not a Solar installation company that one can trust. From the very beginning there have been issues. Starting from the day scheduled for installation, to the actual installation date. After installation, a compliance certificate was issued, but the system when running kept tripping the mains switch board and blowing the switch in my stove which is not even connected to the system. It took nearly 2 weeks to get the stove problem fixed. I’ve had many empty promises from Tyger Geldenhys and Andrew. I have had to have electricians come back numerous times to wire on the board and eventually the panels had to be disconnected as the system isn’t compatible with my type of prepaid meter box. This has been hugely frustrating because in their more than 3000 installations which they gladly reference they are aware that my type of meter box is problematic but failed to communicate this at any point prior or during installation to me. They went ahead and gladly took my money, leaving me with a system that is not working therefore not compliant (despite a compliance certificate having been issued). They were paid in March, the installation took place in April, it is now June and I am still without a working system from the service that they promised to provide and were paid for. I have now taken the route of them removing the system and getting my money back. Tyger and his team seem to be focused on volume over honest communication, workmanship or quality, and after sales support leaves much to be desired.

The weather, loadshedding and this time of year has not made it easier at all either. We did experience issues on your site with your CoCT conlog meter and underlying issues on your DB that was not easy to resolve. We did come to your home on various occasions to resolve the issues that are not always that simple to locate and resolve. But as you have requested, we have already refunded you in Full plus interest. We will come a take the system out at your convenience. Once again sorry for any inconvenience caused.

I do apologize for any inconvenience caused. We did try and I am glad that we were able to refund you in full with interest even prior to removing the system a week later. This was the first time in on 3500 installations we needed to do that.
