I went to Braamfontein on Saturday, 21/02/2026, as my tyre was flat. I didn't want to risk driving back to Pretoria with that tyre, as I had noticed the problem in the morning when I started my car. When I got there, they took out the tyre and showed me the rim had a dent and a crack. They said they will fix it, and I asked how long it will take. They said two hours, and I asked about the closing time, but they reassured me that they will be able to fix it. I waited about 3 hours. I was annoyed that they took longer than expected, and they were not communicating. I paid the R950 off I went. Sunday, I did not go anywhere, but on Monday, when my husband started the car, the same tyre had lost air pressure, and it was at 170. He went to the garage to fill it. Used the car to drive to work, Arcadia Pretoria, nothing was showing. On Wednesday, when I started the car to go to the gym, the light went on; again, the tyre air pressure was 170. I then decided to take it to Tyremart in Menlyn. They showed me the same thing that the rim had a dent and it cracked. I had to pay R950 again. I am being told that they do not fall under the same company, and they are Autowheel. In my eyes, I was ****med by Tyremart, which made me pay for the same repairs twice. It could be a different mother company, but the fact remains, they are the same thing. I would like to be compensated for the work that was promised but was not done. Feedback will be really appreciated in addressing this matter.

Had two front tyres replaced at Tyre Mart Fleurdal and immediately afterwards a noise started coming from the left front side. I returned and Nico personally test-drove my car twice and confirmed he could hear the sound, yet nothing was done to fix it. No resolution, no accountability, and no concern for the inconvenience caused. Extremely disappointing service — I will not be returning and do not recommend this branch.

⭐ 1 Star Extremely poor service and dangerous workmanship at Hluweluwe Tyre Mart. My friend took her VW Golf to Hluweluwe Tyre Mart for wheel balancing after I had completely redone the front suspension with all new parts. A week later, the car developed a noise when turning the steering wheel. I discovered that the bolts connecting the steering shaft to the steering rack were loose — something that should never happen and could have caused a serious accident. When my friend went back to report it, the staff’s attitude was arrogant and dismissive, claiming “we don’t loosen bolts.” Soon after, they refused to do her next wheel alignment, saying there was “too much play” — even though they had just worked on it the week before. I contacted Tyre Mart Head Office (a Lady called Debbie) and got the same arrogant attitude. They suggested taking the car back to Hluweluwe, but after the unsafe work and poor attitude, I no longer trust them. This is not an isolated case — their reviews show a clear pattern of poor customer service and lack of accountability. I’ve personally had bad experiences there before too, including being treated rudely and unprofessionally during the COVID period. Hluweluwe Tyre Mart has a serious management problem, and their careless work could cost lives on the road. I will never take a vehicle there again and strongly advise others to stay away.
