Worst tyre dealership in Gauteng
I bought secondhand tyres from this dealership "TYRES FOR AFRICA" in Midrand Gauteng, the guy working there inspected the tyres and guaranteed me they are in very good condition. I had them fitted two days later, as I am from Lephalale, on my rims and the worker pointed out that there are bubbles on both tyres. He did however managed to balance them but the steering wheel shakes like crazy above 80km/h. I immediately contacted the dealership and showed them the bubbles on the tyres and requested a refund. They refused, I tried to get them to give me other tyres in return but that they also refused saying I have to take the loss.

Bunch of crooks. These guys sold me a defective tyre on Monday, I realised it in the Tuesday and tried to return it Wednesday. The guys in the shop told me the boss wasn’t there and I must call him which I did, I explained to him what had happened and he said to give the phone to one of the guys in the shop, the guy spoke with him and laughed and then he hung up and returned to sanding a rim, completely ignoring me. I asked again for the Indian guy I had dealt with and I was told he does not work there anymore. I said okay well then go get someone who can assist, he went to the house adjoining the garage/shop and returned and said they will put another rubbish tyre on and I said no just give me the refund. He again ignored me so I contacted the other number I had for the other branch and got through to the same “boss” he said call on WhatsApp and he will assist which I did but there was no answer then I called the other numbers I had and no answer. I then realised that I was not going to get my money back so I said go call the boss otherwise I’m calling the police. The guy in the shop panicked and went out to the house, when he returned he asked if I had a spare and they put the spare on, took their tyre and gave me my money back. It’s nonsense that I had to threaten to call the cops first before being helped. Thieves

SCAMMERS
Horrendous service, a bunch of scammers!! BEWARE!! They’ll sell you the wrong product and refuse a refund or exchange as they quickly write it on the receipt AFTER YOU PAY!! And then come up with excuses every day as to why they can’t help you. Don’t care about returning customers or meaningful business practice, only a quick buck off of vulnerable people who know no better. Also another note to show how dishonest this company is, the only other review here on hello Peter is by the owner. Typical.
