This company are **** artists. Firstly, they advertise on social media that you need only to invest R4500 and that an AI will make your money grow. This can't be further from the truth ! As soon as I paid my R4500, I was contacted by a Nathan Bloom informing me that he is my "account manager" and that he will tell me what to trade and when. For the first week I showed a small profit, but then he kept on telling me to invest more money. He got abusive with me and yelled at me that I need to listen to him and invest more so than I can make more profit. I eventually did invest more with his constant bullying, but everything he told me to invest in made a loss. When all the my money was gone, he kept on phoning me and raising his voice to me, that I have to invest more to make up my losses. I eventually stopped answering his calls and sent a message on the UMarketpro chat that he must stop calling me and that he is abusive. They did not answer me or acknowledge me. The next day a man by the name of Don Gamrot called me and told me that he would be my new manager and that he would help me get my money I lost back. He then convinced me once again to invest more money which I did. He then told me to trade in certain stocks and currencies which once again landed up being the wrong advise and I lost all my money. AGAIN ! I sent him whatsapp messages informing him that I lost my money again, and he just ignored my messages. He then phoned me again and told me that losses occur in the market, and tried to convince me to invest more money again. When I told him no, he got abusive and yelled at me. I then closed my account and stopped answering his calls. Both this Nathan Bloom and Don Gamrot are foreigners and have a very weird accent which one battles to undertand, yet they claim to be South Africans. They speak to a person as if you are a child, and yell and get abusive if you don't buy into their BS. These so called "account managers" get huge commission on every investment you make. I am a 59 year old widow who lost a lot of my hard earned money due to being ****med and bul**** by this company. Stay away from them, and keep your hard earned money safe.

Don't us this company to assist you you start any trades if you don't have any experience in any trading. They will miss lead you to trades that will negatively effect your free margin. The only way then to fix your free margin is to invest more money and that is how they make sure to set you up for failure if you don't know anything about trades. Daniel and Dominique will force you to invest more money and if you refuse, they will make sure you open trades that will negatively effect your free margin and the only way to fix it is to put more money into their account. I will not recommend this company at all if you don't have any experience in trades and depend on them to help you with any trades. They Will set you up to failure and afterwards blame you that you knew about the risk of trading

I was drawn into this trade business 3 months ago. A basic payment of R4500 was made and i received a call and financial broker Daniel Rodic was introduced to me. He asked me the purpose why i was doing it and how much money i had to invest. Stupid of me, I didn't know anything about trades but Daniel told me that he has my back and that he will help me. He started helping me to open trades and called me everyday to close and open trades, and i was doing well for the first month. Th esecond month Daniel suddenly started asking me to put more money into my account. He was very demanding asking me to invest more money since i told him how much money i wanted to invest if it works out.. He kept on pushing me everyday for more and more. When i didnt wanted to put more money into the trades, he started swearing me and told me i am a ***ard. His partner Stefan then started calling me and asked me to open certain trades, which i foolishly did, realizing after 2 weeks that it was a terrible trade and that it was going totally into the wrong direction. I lost a lot of money then and then another broker, Domminique R, started calling me insisting that if I didn't wanted to lose all my money, that i must invest more money into my account to keep everything going. When i told him that i didn't had more money, he got very angry with me He pressurized me to even get a second bond on my house or even sell my vehicle to get the money. i Really wanted to get out of the whole thing, but Dominique insisted that i must invest in new trades, which i then did since i didn't wanted to lose all my money. Within 2 day the two traded we opened also went totally into the wrong direction. They will set you up for failure if you don't know the trades and trying to learn, and during that process they will verbally abuse you to get more money out of you. When I realized that i was busy losing everything, i tried to make contact with them immediately. I called the office and left numerous messages. Just to see how everything crumbled infront of me without them calling me back, but i knew that if they had to call me back, they would demand more money to keep my trades out of trouble, but they called me and guided me to open the trades, knowing it will not perform. Daniel and Dominique or not ethical at all and will try to convince you every day to put more money into your account because they were benefiting very cent you put in, but when you start loosing they just walk away. Really Bad guys!!!!!

I’ve been trading for 6 months with Umarket Pro and lost over R200K due to their outrageous swap fees and extremely wide spreads. It’s nearly impossible to be profitable long-term under these conditions. My first advisor, Nathan Bloom, was clearly only interested in deposits and commissions — not client success. When he stopped caring, my account was handed over to someone which portfolio I shouldn't qualify for. He tried saving my account, but unfortunately the damage was already done. There are much better brokers out there who actually want to see their clients succeed and grow. Don’t make the same mistake I did — avoid Umarket Pro at all costs.

I recently sent the below complaint to Umarketpro: "I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the manner in which I was misled and misguided by your sales representatives, resulting in a devastating financial loss of over R200,000 within less than three weeks. While I acknowledge that your company is a registered and legitimate business, the tactics employed by your sales team are highly questionable and, in my experience, exploitative. I was subjected to extremely aggressive sales pressure, which pushed me—an inexperienced novice in trading—to invest more and more, until every cent of my savings had been depleted. Even after losses mounted, your staff continued to push for further deposits, insisting that I could recover if I invested additional funds. I entered into this with transparency, as a single mother who explained my financial goals clearly, and I was assured that my best interests would be safeguarded. Unfortunately, this promise was not honored. Instead, I was repeatedly pressured, shown misleading “success” stories, and even given guarantees of positive outcomes that never materialized. Each time I suffered losses, I was urged to deposit more, only for those funds to vanish as well. To make matters worse, I was actively discouraged from making any withdrawals, with the explanation that keeping funds in the account was necessary to “grow my portfolio.” As a result, I never once had the chance to withdraw a single rand of my own money before everything was lost. It has since come to my attention that your sales representatives earn substantial commissions on every deposit made, which explains the relentless pressure I faced. In less than one month, nearly R300,000 of my hard-earned savings was wiped out under the guidance of individuals who claimed to be “investment experts.” I now find myself feeling betrayed and ****med—not by a *****ulent entity, but by a registered company that is supposed to be operating with integrity. This experience is particularly painful given the current economic climate in our country, where savings represent security and sacrifice. I have retained evidence of the misleading promises and high-pressure tactics used against me, including WhatsApp messages and email communications. While I am bringing this complaint forward in good faith, I fear that your company may attempt to shift the blame entirely onto me, the client, rather than accepting responsibility for the ********* practices of your representatives. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and respond with accountability. I look forward to hearing how my complaint will be handled." This sums up how I feel about their services.
