Unprofessional Conduct
Disappointed and disgusted with Unifi service
App**** for a loan with Unifi I think from 24th of March and they came back with a 4000 loan offer and I did not take it reason being I felt if I app**** for more I was going to be able to payoff all the small debts that I have they repayment options are affordable and I get to settle at least 4 creditors on their R15000 loan. Then they declined, on the basis that I was R100+ over with the debt now here’s a kicker:
I’ve written to them several times explaining the same thing that their calculation is wrong with proof reason being 3 of those debts are on persal (yet they calculated it as though it’s what I pay for after deductions all the persal deductions they amount to R7012 with one finishing on the 15th of April)
They then decided just for control they’ll add the debt that o have already paid off and forwarded the proof of payment to them which already amounts to R3600+ and it is still marked there as a debt owing despite me having sent the proof. They’ve cancelled so many debit order mandates, went on to my banking app several times collecting information, and went on my ITC report yet they still come back with wrong info and proof has been sent to them to the contrary. I just want to know how exactly do they do that with all the information given to them.
I so very frustrated as they keep calling and dropping calls and when you send an email they don’t address the frustrations I have they write their own thing which doesn’t help me in any way shape or form. There’s a level of unprofessionalism.

01 Apr 2026, 09:38UPDATE: thank you UNIFI for your response because I note that most queries go unnoticed and I responded to. However it is not true that you did not get the payslip as it was already sent 9x the latest request was the paid up letter which the email was sent early hours of the morning and I responded to in the morning with the repeat of yet another 10x proof. It seems that UNIFI is convenient in how they choose to receive documents I even forwarded an email from my employer with my payslip surely you have got to open and read documents and information. Like many people have said your calls cut when I call back it’s engaged so it can’t be true that I’m the one looking for help and I’m deliberately not unavailing myself. It is frustrating dealing with UNIFI you guys have got to read the comments to know how you are fairing we can’t all be sending documents 50 times and still you claim to not have received, I allowed you to use electronic way of getting documents now the story is changing and the response will come back with something else. The first offer was made based on submitted documents they are still the same or are you saying it was made from nothing? That can’t be right the difference was me asking for more money as I want to settle all these small debts the documents were still the same but your story keeps changing just to frustrate the process. READ YOUR CUSTOMER COMMENTS AND YOU WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING ON IN YOUR INSTITUTION ITS BAD AND YOU HAVE GREAT AFFORDABLE RATES AND WE PUT UP WITH THIS ABUSE
