Unique One realtors - what a ****!!

I am seeking a rental apartment in Cape Town and 2 Realtors came up with RED FLAGS. They advertise apartments, and then approve people for the listing. Then, they say that NO one can view the apartment until the deposit is paid, and 1st months rental……what a ****!!

The site copy for both have multiple template red flags (e.g., generic blog post with a random Gmail listed as “info.contact@gmail.com” and “Sunday: Clossed”). on both websites.

I couldn’t find uniqueonerealtors.co.za in the PPRA (Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority) public resources by name. I asked to verify any agent/firm directly via the PPRA search tool and helpline, but they cannot be found.. I asked for a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) for both the firm and the individual agent which is legally required in SA but they cannot provide this.

I have asked for them to independently verify: PPRA registry (firm + agent name or FFC number).
