Script not under formulary
What a pain in the ass! Your medical insurance used to be so good, now you're serviced and attention to detail has gone down the drain.
I consulted with your doctor's at intercare and I was prescribed things that are not on the formulary. I phoned and spoke to Sbu who told me there's no way I can be reimbursed as it is the Dr's fault.
I mean these are your doctor's under your network! I've just paid R140+ and I want to be reimbursed as I have nothing to do with an incorrect script being issued.
I dread using your service at any pharmacy. I wish our organisation can stop using Unity Health, it is not worth it at all. I might ditch you totally this year.

12 Jan 2026, 09:50I just got off the phone with the broker assigned to us. Why make him call me when my request to you was simple? The doctor did not advise that I will be getting medication that is not on the formulary, so why should I be liable for the cost? I am told by the broker that I won't be reimbursed and that writing here will not assist me. Is that so? Last week I was promised a call back and all of a sudden, a broker is calling to "teach me" on how the scheme works??? You guys are a joke honestly. Please train your broker to not speak to customers as if he is speaking to his kid, I do not appreciate that!! I am definitely upset as I've spent money on medication without being informed by the doctor that it is not covered. As advised, I will be communicating with the doctor as it is now her fault that she prescribed non-formulary medication without informing me. This is about integrity more than money!
