This institution promotes prejudice against men. One of their student was in their campus holding a placard calling for the genocide of 4 billion men. The student has the word misandrist written in her Facebook account's bio and instead of taking action, they only made a post distancing themselves from the student's views and went on to restrict comments on the same post so we don't annoy them. They went on to lie that the student is not registered with them even tho there is compelling evidence on social media that she is. There is no equality and promotion of a safe environment for all its community here. An absolutely shame of an institution.

i did my honours degree at ufs in 2013, and to my shock i am told that the ufs honours degree is not a nqf 8 qualification but nqf 7. now i can not apply for my mba because saqa also has it as a nqf 7. i really feel like ufs ****med me here. i will make sure that everyone knows about this and people stop wasting their time and money doing post graduate qualifications with you. this is going on social media too!!! 0798272304

My child was accepted to study Education at UFS beginning 2023 with an all inclusive FUNDSA burcary for the whole term of her studies. For some reason UFS had to refunded funds to FUNDSA resulting the students now owing more than R100,000 to UFS before they can register. After numerious emails and visits to the UFS Finance and Fundsa consultant, with different feedback each time, the students are not allowed to register for their 3rd year classes. Noye that no petsonal information have changed sonce2023. Some of the students lost their space in some classes already for th, like Sotho, thus unable to complete that subject in theor 3rd year and are now forced by UFS to take new subjects. The UFS force these students, with approved bursaries, to sign a declaration of debt to pay them the R100,000 monthly before end of Des 2025 before they can register for their 3rd year. As mentioned some subjects classes are full while our children tried their best to get answers and get this resolved numerious times. This is unfair and against their rights to education. They still achieves great exam and test results with a lot of extinctions. Thank you.

My mom was assisted by Hennie Brits. Such a selfish person. My mom just got her pension fund money and went to look for a bakkie from this dealership. Hennie advised my mom to put down the deposit of 20 000 without explaining the terms and conditions of the deposit. My mom got another car from another dealership and went back to cancel the deposit. He refused to refund her and said he will only refund us if we get him another customer who can buy the car. I mean how selfish is that? My 60 year old mom to get him customers . Then he went on to say that if my mom cancels the deposit agreement he will have to take 15 000 from the deposit and my mom will only get 5000 of her money. Any advice on the way forward with this matter?

I am so disappointed with the UFS I am a student doing my postgraduate qualification. I have studied through UFS before and I have never experience such incompetence. I have received an email from the Unievesity stating that the results are not out yet, but gave instruction on how to pay for remark. That's to me is a red flag. It looks like the university is trying to raise funds through exams remark fees. Hiw can you tell a student that the marks are not out yet and then give the instructions on how to pay for remark. That sounds like desperation. I am disappointed 😞

Student Number: 2017552312. In 2020 I registered for Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law, after I failed to bursary from my employer in 2021 started paying R1500, R2500 then later in 2021 I made agreement with the university to pay R500.00 monthly which I did entered into the agreement by signing up agreement contract. The payment of R500.00 started to be debited on my ABSA Cheque account. Then in 2022 January I received a letter of demand (Sheriff's) Synmington De Kock I let my lawyer aware of the matter which they intervene since then till now this matter has not been resolved but my R500.00 payment agreement stop order it is still debited from my bank account. The University and its lawyers failed to provide me with current statement balance due and they are not coopoeating with me and my lawyers.
