Please don't do business with this company. These foreigners are doing sloppy jobs if they do a job. They asked for deposits via cash send once you have paid, they are gone and so is your money. Be careful!!!!!

STAY FAR AWAY
If I could give zero stars, I would. The owner of this business, Dries vd Heever is a pathological **** who will take a 50% deposit upfront and then never meet a promised delivery date. After weeks or more likely months of obfuscation, he'll tell you the furniture is ready and ask for payment of the other 50%. And if you're foolish enough to pay (I was), he'll come up with a series of increasingly far fetched excuses about why he still isn't able to deliver your furniture........floods, hijackings, earthquakes, whatever. ALL LIES. You'll lose all all your money and probably your furniture. And he doesn't have the guts to talk to you on the phone, only communicates by WhatsApp. This man belongs behind bars.

Run!!! Make a U turn from Urban Upholstery Solutions!
Now waiting over 6 months for Dries to come and fix their error!! All you ever get is broken promises and blatant lies over and over again!!! Please be warned!!! Turn away and look for a reputable company that offers good client service and doesn't blatantly break promises and continuously lies for months!!! I'm STILL sitting with couches with feet off the ground!!! Really unprofessional to treat your client like this. Gave Dries his last chance over 2 weeks ago and obviously has no intention of coming to fix his error!! Hopefully it gets sorted legally now.

Turn away and look for a reputable company that offers good client service and doesn't blatantly break promises and continuously lies for months!!! Two words guys....STAY AWAY! Received my corner lounge suite back with the couch feet off the ground and totally off-line!! Dries asked for full payment before delivery and when I queried that he said don't worry you have 6 months to complain and he will come correct. They put the Hooks completely out of line hence the feet off the ground. Have asked him numerous times to come fix his error and all you get is broken promises and more lies. Sunday 12.11 23 his six months were up. Messaged me & promised he would be here yesterday 17.11.23 bur yet again blatant lie!!! I still have couches with feet above the ground!! Now taking him to small claims court. Be warned⚠️

Awesome service
Received amazing service from Dries and his team in reupholstering 29 of our office chairs. Service was very quick and the staff were very friendly and they gave us the best prices overall. Collected the chairs on a Friday afternoon when it was convenient for us and returned them early on the Monday morning again. Thank you so much for the amazing service. I highly recommend using them.

Awesome service
Received amazing service from Dries and his team in reupholstering 29 of our office chairs. Service was very quick and the staff were very friendly and they gave us the best prices overall. Collected the chairs on a Friday afternoon when it was convenient for us and returned them early on the Monday morning again. Thank you so much for the amazing service. I highly recommend using them.

Excellant service!! I requested a quotation to re-upholster 2 couches, 2 wingback chairs and a piano chair on the company's website. Dries contacted me the following day, requesting more information on what my expectations were. After sending Dries pictures of what I had in mind, he confirmed that they could assist and favoured me with a very reasonable quotation. Dries and his team visited me with a variety of fabric samples after hours. After choosing the fabric, the team immediately loaded the furniture and assured us that the work will be done in 14 days. Dries kept me updated on the progress almost every second day and our furniture were delivered on the Saturday afternoon, 11 days after collection. We could not be happier with the result.

LOUNGE SUITE AND MONEY GONE!!!!
In October 2016 Dries quoted me R27 300 to reupholster a leather lounge suite for me. I had to pay R19 110 upfront, ostensibly to purchase the required leather. After thousands of emails, phone calls and even a visit to his property with the police, I have never seen my lounge suite or my money again. This matter was referred to attorneys, DTI for arbitration, to no avail. Six years later ... still nothing. STAY AWAY!!!!!
