Deposit refund
They don’t want to refund all of my deposit because a frame was rusty . Of which the frames weren’t painted when I moved in. I stayed 7 months then they want to tell me in seven months I had demaged frames of windows that I wasn’t opening because when you open them they were making funny noise and I opted not to open them because I was scared they would fall on me and I had to pay. Urbanvest has a reputation of not refunding deposit. To paint a frame of a window at Urbanvest is R1100. They are left with my paint which which will last them for more than 2 years . Honestly it’s not on to maintain their building.

What I find very strange is that you lodge a complaint on social media on 18.09.2022, but you were already refunded on the charges of the window frames on 30.07.2022. On what grounds do you base your accusation of Urbanvest property not paying out deposit charges? We do have all the photos of the move in and move out inspections. You are welcome to request the again.
What also doesn't add up, is on the Moving In Inspection done on 24.12.2021, which you signed together with the Building Manager, is that all was in order.
We trust that you will be satisfied in your new apartment.

21 Sept 2022, 19:47I think I wrote clear simple English that part of my deposit was withheld for a window, check how much your company refunded me and how much I paid for the deposit when I moved in. so it can’t be strange to you.
Yes I also have a video which I took when I moved in. I will gladly show the rental tribunal and you can send your pictures too.
When we did the inspection, I wasn’t responsible as they knew how I found that window and came refund time you felt you wouldn’t pay all my and came up with stories.
Honestly I have peace of mind and never will ever recommend Urbanvest to anyone.

22 Sept 2022, 20:49My resolution was to post the review so others can know about your rental crooking company, from your end you can resolve R150 per hour labour which you steal from your former tenants and pay those poor employees because they don’t look like R150 per that you steal from us. Just know even if I was to rent in the future, I will never use your company. You are thieves all post here are about your company stealing deposits.
