<p>I spoke to someone early this year regarding an MTN contract upgrade. The lady that I spoke to told me that i could do an upgrade anytime when I am ready at that time i only needed data, sms's and airtime. I didn't need a phone therefore I didn't do a phone upgrade. I asked her if I will be able to get a phone whenever I am ready and she said yes, surprisingly when I called MTN today I was told I am not eligible for a new phone, i can only get a new phone in 2018. I want this stupid contract cancelled A.S.A.P. Their customer service number is not even working. This must sort this out.</p>
