<p>We are subcribe to MTN Iin 2016 velocity from Durban did our upgrades .</p> <p>we recived ou handsets and new LTE SIM CARDS .</p> <p>MY HUSBANDS LINE WAS NOT ACTIVATED AND WE HAD TO WAIT FOR 2 WEEKS.</p> <p>THE SALE CONSULTANT AT VELOCITY CHANGED OU TOP UP LINES TO OPEN LINE.</p> <p>I HAVE PHONED IN NUMEROUS TIMES AND EVERY TIME I WAS TOLD CALL MTN WE THEN WENT TO A MTN BRANCH AND WE WERE TOLD THEY CAN NOT HELP US CALL VELOCITY.</p> <p>TODAY 03/03/17 I CALLED MTN AND I WAS TOLD THE PACKAGE CAN NOT BE CHANGED BECAUSE WE ASKED FOR PROMOTIONAL PACKAGES AND WE DID .</p>

<p>I spoke to someone early this year regarding an MTN contract upgrade. The lady that I spoke to told me that i could do an upgrade anytime when I am ready at that time i only needed data, sms's and airtime. I didn't need a phone therefore I didn't do a phone upgrade. I asked her if I will be able to get a phone whenever I am ready and she said yes, surprisingly when I called MTN today I was told I am not eligible for a new phone, i can only get a new phone in 2018. I want this stupid contract cancelled A.S.A.P. Their customer service number is not even working. This must sort this out.</p>

<p>Hi Peter,</p> <p> </p> <p>In late June i took received a call from Velocity (MTN sub-contractor) with an offer for two Sony Experia phones contract, which i was interested in and took the package. two days later i received the phones and a day later realised that phones were rebooting themselves so i took them back to one of the MTN stores. After Velocity received them back they gave me a call to find out whether i want the devices swapped and i told them to rather cancel the contract as it was still within the 7 days grace period. A day later I received confirmation that the contract was cancelled however a deduction was made on my account this month and i do not understand why.</p>

<p>Hi Peter, my name is Suzan Pholo i am frustrated right now due to the service that i am receiving from velocity call centre in Durban. I bought a laptop from them through telephone. I had a contract with mtn which ws due for upgrade. As they r franchise they called on behalf of mtn then i bought a laptop. I received a laptop 3 weeks after da purchasr took place. When i received the laptop i realised after few days that the modern sim card that came with the laptop ws not active only to find out that i had to use the sim catd that i use on my cellphone bcose i ws making an upgrade i did nt start a new contract. I called mtn and they explained all this to me and told me that they cnt help me nd gave me the velocity numbers. I called velocity i spoke to some lady i forgot her name, explained everything to her nd she told me that i can return the laptop to any mtn around me they will come collect it there i took it back confirmed with her that iv drooped it at mtn that same day it ws on the 18 of april 2016. By then mtn had already debited their first debit order. That was ok though... the begining of May a guy called to enquire what exactly did i return to velocit. I became worried cs it ws almost a month now since iv returned the laptop. I told him them if my contract hv been cancelled he told me that the person who ws dealing with my query is no longer working with them he took over. He told me that they hvnt collected the laptop the was information that ws missing. This month mtn debited my money again for the laptop that is nt on my possession. Iv been calling this guy the last time i spoke to him ws on the 19 of may to find out what is going on. He told me that the driver ws on their way to collect the laptop nd they then cancellthe contract. I hvnt heard from them till today pleasr help. Velocity provided me with excellent service this afternoon. I have been struggling to get through to them for the past 3 days. The Manager took my number and got a staff member to phone. Feeling super special with their excellent service. Wish all companies treated their customers this way.
