Today I took my wife for sushi at Village Sushi at Noordhoek village today for lunch, when we got to the restaurant entrance there was no one to be seen, we stood at the door for a couple of minutes and eventually a man came running from a different restaurant asking us if we have been helped. After we told him we have not been helped he went in the restaurant looking for staff but the staff was no where to be found, after while a waitress did appear and seated us with menu’s, the waitress then walked around a little bit and came to take drinks orders from us and then again she was gone. I noticed that there were 2 other tables in the restaurant so it was not busy at all, After a long wait we finally got our drinks and she was gone again for a long time, she then came back took our order but did not bother to explain anything about the dish we ordered, I had to ask her to explain it to me also the information she gave me was very vague, our food came to the table and when I looked at the tuna on the plate and it looked grey i am no tuna expert so anyways we ate it, it tasted and smelled very fishy after we done eating the food, I overheard the chef and the waitress talking and saying the tuna is bad we should not give it to the customer’s but it’s ok they already ate it.I was very shocked and disgusted, I mean if the chef knows the fish is off he should not serve it to people and the waitress also knows about it she should have told him no I can’t serve this to my customers, there was no manager insight to to complain to, we just paid our bill and left.
