Lack of transparency regarding their T's & C's - Marketing/competition

I purchased a bottle of your Fat ******* The Golden Reserved wines from OK Liquors in Fontainebleau, Randburg, Gauteng, last month. I entered the competition last month and filled in all my details on the back of my till slip as advised by the cashier.

I was never informed of the T's & C's or how the winner would be announced. On the 31st of July 2024 at 13:38, I missed a call, which happened to be on my birthday. The number I received a missed call form was 0733733518.

I returned the call at 14:34 from my mobile number 071325**** to identify the caller, but the number had no caller ID associated with it, and therefore no way to tell if the call was from OK Liquors.

The person on the other end informed me that I was the lucky winner of the competition, but since I missed the initial call, they drew another till slip, and that person was announced the winner.

Surely, the rules of the competition need to be clear and transparent. If I had known when the winner would be announced and the time of the announcement, I would have been more attentive to my mobile, and maybe I could have won the prize.

I truly enjoy your wines, especially the Fat ******* ‘’The Golden Reserve’’. I am disappointed that I missed out on the prize.

I have raised my concern with OK GROUP, and they mentioned that they would escalate the issue to Vinimark who was running the competition. I have received no feedback or call from your organization to date.

NB: I tried to reach out via your Fat ******* Web page ‘’get in touch with us’’ – but the submission process does not work.
