I wrote a review a couple days ago complaining regarding virgin active debiting the incorrect amounts and on 3/4 different dates during the month. I am writing another one directed at LEBO from Virgin active wonderboom. I gym from 5:00 - 6:00 as I start work at 7:00 am and that is what works for me. On Wednesday 06/09/2023 I got up as usual and went to the gym, the couple days prior there was load shedding but the gym remained open with those camping lights everywhere allowing people to still continue their workouts. However, on Wednesday, I was refused entry into the gym by LEBO as they did not have back up power and had not made arrangements the day before to ensure their clients can still continue as per normal that morning despite load shedding. I did not receive ANY notification the night prior via the app/sms/email, nothing to inform any of their members that the gym would not be able to operate that morning. Wasted my petrol driving to the gym AND then back home to get ready for work and drive all the way to work which was not how my morning planning was suppose to go. After asking Lebo about why they did not inform their client's as they are REQUIRED TO or ensuring they have backup power, she shrugged her shoulders and closed the door. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a woman that claims to be a manager, you are useless and do not have your client's interests at heart. What are you even doing in a client based industry?? Ridiculous.
