In January 2024 I went to Voltex in George to buy an Efergy Energy meter as advertised on their website. The salesperson informed me that the branch does not have one in stock, but they can get me one from the Mosselbay branch the next day. I agreed and collected the meter the next day. At home I had challenges to configure the full functionality of the meter and thought it was faulty. I went back to the salesperson at Voltex the same day for assistance with configuration and the salesperson and Shafik advised with some settings I can do at home. I tried the settings but still no success with the configuration. The next day I went to Voltex with the intend to return the Efergy Energy meter as I concluded it was faulty. Shafik then phoned some people who had experience with the configuration of the meter and showed me how to configure the meter. Shafik suggested that I try the new settings at home and if still unsuccessful, they will refund me for the meter. He even sent a driver with to save me the trouble to drive back to Voltex in case I wanted to return the meter. At home I tried the suggested settings while the driver patiently waited. I used the suggested settings and the meter then worked 100% correctly. I informed the driver who then returned to Voltex. I want to thank Shafik and the team for the excellent manner and patience while they assisted and handled my issues with the Efergy product. You guys turned my purchase into a very pleasant and much appreciated experience.
