Disregard for Debit Order Arrangements

VW Financial services disappointed & violated my arrangement today! A month ago I received a text that my debit order will be processed on the 15th December. I specifically called them the day after to ensure they move my debit order back to the original date later in the month, since I was not sure when I will receive my salary on the 15th December.

Surprize Surprize! The debit order went off today.

What is the point of making arrangements if it gets disregarded! Also, with all the marketing tools there are in these days, surely they know who are the clients that are/ aren't diligent payers. I am an individual with an above average credit score and in the 3 odd years I have had financing through VWFS, I have never missed a payment. This is also because I make prior arrangements to ensure I can honour the payments.

I feel violated by the way they decide when your debit order should be processed. Surely this is NOT the way you treat your most reliable payers. This feels like corporate bullying.
