I think the service centre is understaffed.
I make arrangements when booking my car for service and then remind the staff in the morning. I politely request to receive my car at 15:00 to allow me to fetch kids at school.
I have never received my car at the said time (the 5-6 times I took my car between 2022-24), it’s always 1-2 hours late. Does not even matter if my car is first in the line 😞.
Of all the cars I have owned … ford, Opel, BMW. This was a fair request. For some reason, this is something VW cannot do.
The strange thing is VW customer care call me everytime about my experience. I give my honest feedback and here we are 2 years later and nothing has changed.
This dealer is close to home.
My next service will be closer to work. I hope this experience is dealer specific, but I think it’s a VW problem. The staff always complain that the system is slow when they need to give me paperwork detailing work carried out.
I am stuck with VW as I love my car. And it’s been very reliable limiting my interaction with VW 😌.
