Infiniti Q70 Purchase & Issues Summary Purchase: October 2024, Infiniti Q70 diesel sedan from WeDoCars.
Issue: Vehicle had defects (brake assist warning light on, loose chassis).
Use: Drove the vehicle for only 3 days before returning it.
Attempts to Repair:
Vehicle sent to Santon Nissan / Santon Infiniti.
Later sent to Hatfield Nissan (previously an Infiniti dealership).
Assisted JD ***ner of WeDoCars) to take it to one of his contacts, but they could not fix it.
Persistent issues remained unresolved.
Complaint to Ombud:
Lodged a formal complaint.
Ombud unable to reach JD; case closed without resolution.
Communication:
Emailed JD, expressing that he knows how to avoid accountability in such situations.
Financial Impact:
Paid instalments and insurance for 3 months (~R20,000) without use of the vehicle.
