Vet doesn't care

<p> </p> <p>I think you should know about the following. My mom took her cat to Wetnose Rayton for the first time on the 13th of June 2016. She told the vet the cat is not eating and just keeps on sleeping and that she thinks it must be something like diabetes or kidneys. The vet then told her no its not it’s her teeth and gave her antibiotics. A week later on the 21st of June my mom took her cat back still not eating and just sleeping and insisted on help. They cleaned the cats teeth and gave my mom antibiotics again not looking for anything more that could be wrong with the cat. The next day ( 22nd of June) my mom called the vet and told them the cat is still not eating and just sleeping, the receptionist said it’s because of the anesthesia and she should wait another day. In all of this my mom kept on asking to speak to the vet and she refused being too busy and having the receptionist deal with my mom. On the Thursday (23rd of June) my mom called them again because the cat still didn’t eat , the receptionist told her to wait another day and then to bring the cat back on the Friday morning (24th of June). I then told my mom we can’t wait anymore and we took the cat to a vet in Kempton Park. In which when he looked at the cat told us immediately it was her kidneys and confirming this with a kidney test. We had to put the cat down due to too much time being past that the cat didn’t eat. I feel this is very unprofessional and that Wetnose Rayton has someone that does not care about their patients and lacks the education to treat animals. We could have saved our cat by putting her on Urinary SO food and if we had gotten her the correct medication on time. Then when my mom told them we had to put the cat down they didn’t even care to say sorry for their negligence . I thought this was a centre caring for animals and not ****ing them.  </p> <p> </p> <p>This disgusts me and really truly hurts to have lost our pet due to a vet not knowing what she was doing.  </p> <p> </p>
