I contacted Leeto from Wheelsturn to Ask for assistance with my malfunctioning car radio. He asked me to describe what the issue was over the phone to which he responded by saying that the radio had to be replaced. He gave me a quote of R3800 which included fitment. He requested that the money be paid before I bring the car in for fitment because the radio would need to be registered with renault so that It can function. On 19 August I made payment and waited for an appointment with the dealership. I took the car to his dealership on 22 September to have the radio fitted. The car was returned later than the agreed time. And only when Leeto arrived with the car did he inform me that he failed to fit the radio. He claimed that there were additional issues to the car that prevented him from being able to successfully fit the radio. He claimed that the new issues where beyond his expertise and promised to arrange a booking with renault so those issues could be sorted at no additional cost to me. He claimed that my car would be taken in as part of a study so no fees would be required. From that date onwards I received no update as to when this supposed booking will be. My messages of enquiry were ignored from that date. On the 12th of November I requested a refund because I did not receive the radio and fitment thereof, as per our initial agreement. Leeto’s response to this request was that I have to be patient. I have been waiting since 22september with no updates from this dealership. I want to take my car to another company that will repair/replace my cars radio without delay. Therefore I need my money back.
