I reserved a table for 4 people at Wolfgat Restaurant in Paternoster via the Dineplan app on February 9. Dineplan deducted R5,000.00 from my credit card to confirm the reservation. On April 5, I canceled the reservation for April 13. According to the cancellation policy, the full amount will be refunded if canceled more than 72 hours in advance. I canceled 8 days or 192 hours before, which was earlier than necessary. The refund to my debit card was not possible as the number had changed in the meantime. I therefore submitted a Proof of Account through my bank on April 30. Today is May 20th and I have been waiting in vain for the refund since April 5th - so more than 6 weeks have passed. I therefore urgently warn every user of this app and every guest of Wolfgat Deposit to pay. Dineplan is debiting money on behalf of the restaurants without taking responsibility for refunds. Giselle Heynes from Dineplan has tried to resolve the matter without success. If the money is not in my account by May 22, I will instruct a lawyer.
