I had a terrible experience with Witmart and Smith. They were extremely dishonest, constantly asking for deposits, and even restricting my account, which had over R275,000. I tried reaching out to their customer service, but they were unhelpful and refused to resolve the issue. Thankfully, I got in touch with Mrs. Faina, who took my case seriously. She helped restore my account, and I was able to withdraw everything. I’m now completely done with Witmart and Smith and would advise others to stay away from them. If you’re in a similar situation, I recommend contacting Mrs. Faina directly at FAINASECURETEAM ___ ((@)) g_ma__" il,___c0__m.

I purchased wool and knitting needles. I could not use the knitting needles as they seemed to be coated with something that prevented the wool from sliding easily on the needles. As I can only get to this store on a Saturday I purchased other needles from a store closer to my work and I could happily proceed with my project. I went back to Wolmart Afrika on 29 October and was told that they do not give refunds. My slip states no refunds for wool because of dye lot changes - fair enough but no mention of no refunds at all. The assistant was rude and dismissive and had the gall to say that I was aggressive. Untrue. She didn't like the fact that I questioned the no refund. Eventually, after much time had passed, she said I could have a credit note. A very unpleasant experience.

2 balls of a 4 ply specific dye lot were actually 3ply. When I emailed in to tell them this I was immediately sent a pack of 4 ply wool in the same dye lot which I received yesterday.

This is the first time I have had such excellent customer service so thank you Stephen.
