I’ve been a loyal customer at this establishment for over six years without any major incident. However, what occurred on 26 May 2025 was both distressing and completely unjustified. While placing an order, the owner, who appeared intoxicated once again, approached me aggressively. She refused to serve me and made it clear that I was not welcome, citing a review I had left 8 months ago as the reason, which I believed had long been resolved.
The owner not only harassed me for returning but also escalated the situation by involving her manager to remove us from the premises, despite us not causing any disturbance. My partner and I have spent years supporting this venue, including using the slots regularly without issue.
The most alarming part of the evening was when several locals, seemingly encouraged by the owner, falsely accused me of physically assaulting a staff member named Jessica, claiming there was CCTV evidence. This never happened. To add to the absurdity, my partner and I have no clue of this incident or who the waitress was.
The owner appears to be using past grievances as a personal vendetta to publicly discredit and humiliate me. This level of unprofessionalism, false accusation, and targeted harassment is beyond unacceptable. This will be reported to SAPS this morning.
