We had a net made for our pool about a year ago. We have a new granddaughter who spends a lot of time with us. She is 2 and a half now. We gave Rory our measurements - he gave us a quote. From then on - things went pear shaped - and I should have cancelled. He didn't keep to deadlines and told us our measurements were wrong and the price of the net almost doubled! I was desperate to have the net on as my granddaughter was spending the weekend with us so we went ahead. He arrived with hardly any of the things he needed - had to go backwards and forwards several times to fetch things - very unprofessional! When he left he told me that the net was very tight but would stretch in time. For the next 9 months we never swam because we couldn't get the net back on. Over December we had people housesitting for us and they took the net off completely. We have tried everything - we can't get the net back on. It is now pulling our bricks out of the paving around the pool. It has no starting tag at all. I contacted Rory a few weeks ago and asked if he could send someone to come and refit the net for us - we would pay him a call out charge. He NEVER answers his phone - yet when you message him - he has a lot to say! He told me that he instructed me to put cutex on the clips. He also said he had no signal where he was (yet he was sending me messages) and that he would get his boy Sam to come the following Wednesday. This, of course, never happened. The Wednesday came and went - no message - nothing. When we tried to call him again - he ignored our calls and has now blocked my partner. I called on the services of a reputable pool company who have advised me that the net is too small. He said that you can never do a net without a starting tag which he usually puts at the weir. I am going to sue for my money back - if it's the last thing I do! I will not take this lying down. It is a lot of money for us. Please think before you use them - mine was a net - yours might be a complete pool!

I have never experienced service like this before. I contacted the CEO Rory because i needed my pool renovation done, so they renovated my pool, replaced all my old pipes and installed a new filter. They were quick out of the blocks and got the job done in 3-4 days. But then the problems started coming up 2 months later. My pool tripped every hour and some days the pump would not run at all. I tried to make contact with Rory, but he would not answer my calls or reply to my messages. He eventually replied when i informed him i had an Electrician come out to my place and he told me that the electrical wire from my house to the pump was damaged, that is why my pump keeps tripping. Even if i switch off the pump and just have the pool light on, it trips. Rory eventually replied and told me x2 that he will send someone to come have a look, it's now 4 months later. Please be careful when using these guys because even though they give you a warranty on their work, it seems like there actually is none.

<p>Baywater pools supplied our swimming pool through Sabreal properties( just as useless) .</p> <p> </p> <p>The pool (fibreglass mould) was just put into the ground without any support beneath the steps and without any grout sealing the tiles at the pools edge.</p> <p> </p> <p>I had to contact them several times to sort it out and they eventually sent 2 of their workers to dig up my grass and force sand into the bottom of the steps to make it more sturdy and try to level the pool.</p> <p> </p> <p>After a week of doing that they said to me thats the best they can do and till today, the pool is still not level neither are there support under the steps.</p> <p> </p> <p>Recently the pool pump had a malfunction( i have a full 2 year guarantee from the owner Rory ) which he said to me he will do me a favour as the pump is faulty due to water in the pump because the lid not fixed to the pump. The lid was blown off the pump 2weeks earlier due to a fault on the pump and it took him (Rory) 2 weeks to respond and eventually come out and look at the pump.</p> <p> </p> <p>After i called numerous times again to follow up,I was informed by Rory that he fix the pump within 2 days. I called to follow up and he started screaming at me and said he will make me pay for the pump and put the phone down on me.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please people be aware of this company and NEVER ever buy a pool from them, you WILL regret it.</p> <p>www.baywaterpools.co.za</p>
