I entered this contest against my better judgement, as I thought that it is in aid of charity.

Now you may think that that I am just an upset parent, but here are my reasons for saying that this is a scam.

1) My son had 40 000 votes which cost R12 000 and did not make it into the top 100. A lady I know had 6000 confirmed votes and made it into the top 100. When we complained to the organisers, they removed her child from the top 100.

2) Another child had 50 000 confirmed votes and did not make it into the top 100. Even you assume that these votes were made on a quadruple day ( the day when all votes are multipled by 4), then his parents would have had to spend a minimum of R12 500.

3) They give the impression that this contest is run for charity. In essence only a small amount goes to charity. They just use charity as a front.

4) They make us the rules as they go. There was no quadruple day mentioned in the contest rules. the company decided on the last day to add a quadruple day of voting. on this day all votes would be quadrupled.

5) When parent's ask questions on their facebook page, they keep blocking us and deleting our messages.

6) After they announced the Top 50 babies, the list changed the next day and contestants were added and removed.

7) this contest is a betting scam. Statistically speaking 20% judging has a very small influence on the winners. In most states in the USA, contests like these are banned, because they are betting contests and the parents with the most money can buy the most votes.

So save your money and don't even bother entering.
