I am writing to express my disgust with the service I received at the Expresso store on Loop Street, Cape Town CBD.
One of your cashiers, who claimed to be a manager, incorrectly charged me for two iced coffees instead of three. When I politely advised her that I had ordered three, she responded with a poor attitude rather than apologizing for the mistake.
When I questioned why she was not apologizing, she accused me of shouting, which was not the case. She further stated that I had an attitude when I entered the store. My mood upon entering is irrelevant — I was a paying customer and deserved to be treated with basic respect and professionalism.
The entire interaction was unprofessional and disappointing, especially coming from someone who identified herself as a manager. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied with Expresso’s customer service standards. I trust this matter will be addressed appropriately.
