Not Recommended! Avoid Xtreme Doors
NOT RECOMMENDED!! AVOID!!! 1 star because 0 star is not an option. Offering provided totally unacceptable - clerk and technician tell us it avoids water running into garage but totally unprofessional and shoddy installation and questionable solutions for an older door and ‘they’ve done their job’ regardless of what it looks like. Huge gaps left between weatherstrip (which they damaged) and garage door panels on the outside (which they also damaged) as evident in photos should there be an option to upload, allowing water in between. Management never available to talk to. Appalling customer experience NB!! Very quick to take your money - but will not come out before payment is made in full (then use no refund policy). Not sure what they trading as - we have discovered seemingly different names subsequently. The Garage Door Masters / Xtreme Doors / garagedoorrepairs247 / Tanya’s Garage Doors (link as provided by office clerk for another review platform.) Not sure how they all linked but different references with different correspondence and also use of wording ‘Extreme Roller Doors’ in email address.

Outrageously overpriced!
Charged me R4600 for 20 minutes of work to change new rollers, a new rope for the manual lever and to adjust the settings on the motor. Just found out that I could have done the same thing for just under R1000. Definitely would not recommend!

Charged me R4600 for 20 minutes of work to change new rollers, a new rope for the manual lever and to adjust the settings on the motor. Just found out that I could have done the same thing for just under R1000. Also, the owner is so paranoid about payment that he didn't let the guys leave my premises until proof of payment was received. That's the behaviour of an owner that knows he is ripping clients off. Definitely would not recommend!

Xtreme Door should be Useless Door Installers
Do not make use of these installers. They are unprofessional, do NOT come back to fix the problem you had paid them in full. They don't take your call. The manager is never available. They have been lying about coming out to fix the seals for a week now. Had to put my phone's caller identity off for them to take my calls. Excuses are from on their way, running late, backlogged, be there first thing in the morning. DO NOT LET THEM LEAVE UNTIL YOU ARE 100% SATISFIED - THEY DONT COME BACK FOR REPAIRS OF THEIR OWN WORK

Threatening customers, stay away from Xtreme Doors.
Shocking, Absolutely shocking. Stay away from the company at all costs. Don`t even consider dealing with them. I am writing to inform you about my serious concerns regarding this company. Numerous customers have reported issues with this company and its management team. In several cases, customers who voiced their dissatisfaction were met with threats. I am one of those clients, I asked for a inspection and report to what could be the problem with my faulty garage door. They quoted me R6500 for the work. I negotiated for a better price with the technical person, Windill on site at that time. They agreed to do the work for R3600.00 . After they left I got a call from Gavin who said he was the owner. What is troubling is the response I got after paying them, his response involved threats to me and my family, swearing using terrible language, my wife and kids were brought into his screaming and shouting, ramping and raving telephone call. The actions of Xtreme Doors not only undermine consumer/client trust but also pose a potential risk to anyone who chooses to do business with them. a ******** case have been opened with the SAPD. Our legal team have also been informed and given all the necessary information.
