My experience with this company had been great up until they were required to return my deposit.
When requesting this I was short-changed with no reasons provided. I attempted to contact them and all emails were ignored. Upon calling them directly they informed me that the reason why I was short-changed is that we received a traffic fine (which we paid directly to Zimbali, and the proof was shown), and because we added another name to our guest list.
We had booked a 6 sleeper, and only had 4 people originally registered. We queried Zimbali Bookings about how to get a guest into the Estate and they mentioned we can just add them to our booking since we had 2 available spots. No mention was made as to a hidden cost that would be incurred.
I find the manner in which they dealt with the deposit unethical and corrupt. Applying charges without informing the consumer and refusing to respond to any communications.
I will not be doing business with them going forward and will make sure I no longer reccomend them to anyone else.
