If I could rate them 0, I would. That is the amount of service we received from this company. 80% of the invoice paid and then you just disappeared with NO WORK done, JUST A QUOTE. I tried to reschedule not once, not twice, 7 TIMES. They just don't show up, and then many excuses and lies, from Attie and Bianca. Let's not even mention what a struggle it is to get your money back. We met on 28 October 2024 to have a quote done. On 12 November 2024 the money was paid for the work to be done. On 23 December, the 7th time we rescheduled to have the work done, you didn't pitch, again. Disgraceful.

10Months ago I contacted Attie van Wyngaardt, owner of the company to come and do work at my house. He would only accept the job if I paid a 50% deposit. I comp**** and paid the required R3 942.50. However when it came to delivering the service he had excuse upon excuse as to why he could not meet the set dates and times, day after day. He promised that he would reimburse my deposit. However, 10 months later and nothing has come of those empty promises either. He does not take my calls on his or his partner, Bianca's number. It is clear that he has no intention or repaying my money for services that he promised but did not deliver

10Months ago I contacted Attie van Wyngaardt, owner of the company to come and do work at my house. He would only accept the job if I paid a 50% deposit. I comp**** and paid the required R3 942.50. I would advise against using this company. I called 12th of October to meke use of their service. They requested a 50% deposit which I paid forthwith. Come the Friday (13/10) they did not pitch as they were running late. Saturday no show with excuses, Monday no show after 'being stuck' in traffic. Tuesday more excuses. Eventually had to call out another company to take care of the business. Since then been trying to get the deposit repaid. The excuses continue. From it has been paid (can't provide proof) to it will be repaid (no date given). They are not a trustworthy company. A careful search shows that this has been their modus operandi, regularly, this year alone.

TERRIBLE service. Came to fix our geyser. Not only did he not fix it, but he created a leak. Then, after promising to come back for 6 days and giving every kind of excuse when he didn't (car broke down, sister-in-law in hospital, be there in an hour, etc), we had to pay someone else to fix what he had not and what he had broken. DO NOT USE THIS GUY

TERRIBLE service. Came to fix our geyser. Not only did he not fix it, but he created a leak. Then, after promising to come back for 6 days and giving every kind of excuse when he didn't (car broke down, sister-in-law in hospital, be there in an hour, etc), we had to pay someone else to fix what he had not and what he had broken. DO NOT USE THIS GUY

We called Attie based on what came up on a google search in a desperate attempt to have our geyser fixed on a Sunday. He was not punctual, however he eventually came to check what's going on and said that the geyser had burst and we need a new geyser. He wanted a 80% deposit which we paid him. He didn't end up coming back that day as promised and only at the end of the day, after phoning him, did he say that there is no stock of the geyser and he would sort it out the next day. We became suspicious and found negative reviews on hello peter and google. We called him and requested a refund. He promised to refund as soon as the money reflected in his account. Anyways we had another plumber fix the geyser within half an hour. Turns out the geyser did not burst! The element burnt. This proved Attie to be a chancer. Up until today 1 month later I still have not received my deposit of R12 000. These people are ****mers, absolutely dishonest, unreliable, bunch of pathetic *******. Please be cautious!

This review includes multiple complaints Attie is absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful. Complaint #1 About a year ago, I contacted Attie to fix a sewage pipe that was problematic (old house so the pipe needed to be replaced with a more modern equivalent) and necessitated the digging up of a portion of my driveway. Initially, I thought I was going to repave my whole driveway so he didn't quote me for closing the hole. I subsequently decided I would have his team close the whole, for which he charged me an additional R1100. His team came and did a terrible job of closing the hole so the concrete sank and I still had a hole in my driveway. This was in February of 2022. I have been chasing him for a year to fix the hole and been given every excuse under the sun as well as him telling me he's "coming tomorrow" and never showing up. He is disrespectful of peoples time and shows himself to be deeply unprofessional. I have given him every opportunity to fix it (constantly messaging to enquire when he will fix it) and when I told him today that I would leave a bad review he became rude and belligerent, even blaming me for his not finishing the job and threatening me. I have never received such bad service as a homeowner ever. I had another service provider finally repair the botched job. they charged me R320 to fix my driveway, thus proving not only is Attie unprofessional, but he also charges wildly ****mer prices. Complaint #2: Today, out of the blue, my geyser started leaking. I was recommended a plumber by a neighbour. After looking at the geyser he told me whoever had installed the most recent element and thermostat had installed it badly resulting in rusting that had ultimate resulted in this leak. I asked him if this could be a simple mistake that any plumber could make or if it was shoddy workmanship. He said it was the type of mistake a good plumber would not make. The element was so rusted it was falling apart. I'm sure it will shock you, dear reader, to hear that Attie and his team were the last people to touch my geyser...

I had electrical work done by Attie back in 2019 but had only recently remembered to review when I had seen my light fitting which had been broken by Attie. Attie insisted I paid the full invoice, which I did. He then promised that he would replace my broken light fitting which I am still waiting for him to do, 3 years later. I then received a passive aggressive email from Bianca asking me to remove my review. I don't know why you think that this is the correct way to conduct business but emailing me and threatening me with bad karma if I don't remove my review is ridiculous. Her exact words were " Please remember one thing in life what you do to another will came back to you."

I have used Attie in the past for small jobs around the house and I was very happy. He is very polite and respectful, and gets the job done. I then needed to have my house rewired and he gave me a quote. I paid half so that the job could be started. On the first 2 days his workers were walking on my beautiful pressed ceilings that are irreplaceable. I had to make a scene to get them to stop. I was told the whole job will take 2-3 days. It ended up taking about 7-8 days, but that's fine- the wiring in my house was very outdated and I can believe that there was a lot of work to be done. I then asked to please get back all the old wires to give to my helper whom is building their own house. Attie tells me that they can't give me back my wires since he's going to sell them and that's why he gave me such a good price on the quote. In my mind, this is something that should be discussed first- but I kept quiet because he gave me a good price on the quote. After many delays, his team eventually finishes wiring my house and then it comes time to pay the balance. He asks for payment and I say that once the certificates (COC) are delivered, he will get payment. All of a sudden he was no longer the polite man that he usually is, being quite stern with my sister and I to make the payment. We were pressured into making the payment without receiving our COC, and I made the payment thinking Attie has been so nice in the past- he will never do me wrong. It has been over a month of me constantly messaging him to please deliver my COC. After 2 weeks of messaging I called him dishonest and he got very upset with me saying that he's a "businessman" and "professional" and that I shouldn't say that. It's been over a month now and I still have no certificates. I even have someone whom wants to buy my house but we can't move forward without the COC. At the beginning of this week I told Attie this and pleaded with him to please deliver my COC. He promised me delivery every morning at 7:15, but every afternoon I phoned home and no certificates were delivered. After a month of lies and dishonesty I will get another electrician to do the certificates for me. I would suggest not even using his services, but if you do- only make payment once you're sure that you have everything that you need. Attie will become a different person once he has your money. I am extra upset and unhappy because I really trusted him and had faith in him. Once again, as is the case all over this country at the moment, as soon as you trust and be nice to anyone they will take full advantage of you. Thanks for the reality check👍🏽
