After purchasing a Libre link sensor at great cost, it kept giving me readings of 2.9 or lower. When I checked with Accuview my sugar was 5 mml higher. So after placing sensor which hurts I still have to ***** fingers several times a day. After at least 10 phone calls but im sure its double that when calls drop no one phones back or number is just not working…to try and get a solution I am now turning to this platform hoping someone will answer!! I can add that I used a Dexcom G7 previous 10 days and had no issues, bought Libre link because that was all that Dischem had in stock

Although Abbort always give good service when contacted with complaints about their Freestyle Lubre Sensor 2, I'm very unhappy and disappointed with this particular product which has a high failure rate.

Hi My wife has been using the Libre 2 diabetics sensor for some time now and when it works proberly it is fantastic. HOWEVER...as of the past few months the app**** sensors have consistently failed even though we have gone to great pains to be sure we are applying them according to instructions. Her diabettic doctor actually fitted one and they have all fasiled in one form or another. The return policy works well and they have replaced each one that has failed. Some fitted are quite inaccurate (by some margin) when compared to the traditional blood meter. I have written multiple emails to Abbotts without so much as a reply. At R1000.00 + a pop (not on medical aid) I believe they product should be more reliable.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Absolutely ********** service from Abbott's and their willingness to help those who have chronic conditions in South Africa. CASH PAYING customers who have small children with Type1 diabetes is ignored. It is absolutely disgusting. Freestyle Libre has not been available at CDE Pharmacy for months. Clicks is listed as a stockist BUT their head office knows nothing about stocking this product.

I bought the Freestyle Libre sensor to assist me with the readings of my sugar, the sensor fell off after 6 days I paid R 1 087.00 for the sensor. I went to the pharmacy to collect a new sensor (Medipost Pharmacy in Gezina) the lady informed me that she is unable to assist as the company must sent a rep to replace the sensor. I was already upset because my other machine I test my sugar with is broken so I was relying on this sensor to test my sugar. I called the Abbott diabetic care at 0800222688, they are unhelpful I informed them of the urgent need I have for the sensor they informed me that I must wait 7 days for them to replace the sensor, WHY??? you did not wait 7 days to take my money and your customer care agents are rude and unhelpful, I am very unhappy, and to say this was my very first time buying this sensor....
