Shocking customer care and poor workmanship.
Shocking customer care! I wish I had read this review before hiring them. We used Absolut Carpets to install new carpets, laminate flooring and skirting in our house. We are shocked by the poor customer service and shoddy workmanship. 1. The skirting installed is terribly done, uneven and lumpy at joins, nails exposed etc. No attempt to rectify the horrific joins except thickly applying silicone which looks worse than before. 2. The laminate floors which we supplied have air pockets under them. We had previous laminate flooring in place for 20 years and this never was a problem. Absolut flooring blame the house on this problem. Strangely, this was never a problem with the previous floor. No attempt has been made to rectify the problem althogh we have contacted them on numerous occassions. 3. The joins between the newly laid floorboards and doorways are horrific to say the least. The colour does not even match the floors.

Extremely unhappy Customer
Had laminated flooring installed.<br> The quote included leveling, profiles and quarter rounds.<br> Since the flooring was installed in April 2013 all I have had are squeaking floors. <br> I have complained to the installer on a couple of occasions who has come out with supplier of the product,<br> who maintains that this is normal and merely looking to back up the installer, which I sort of expected.<br> I dont believe the actual laminated flooring to be faulty, but certainly the installation which I believed was not leveled prior to the installation. <br> All I got was a letter from the supplier of the flooring to Absolut Carpets suggesting that I contact SAWLFA to have an independent inspection done, paying an inspection fee of R2500.<br> I have been into numerous homes with laminated flooring and have yet to come across one that squeaks.<br> To say the least that I am not impressed with Absolut Carpets an/or their supplier Azura Distributors would be an understatement. <br> 25 year guarantee???<br>
