Gross. I have just had the worst sushi ever. I ordered the roll collection, 12 pieces and the crunch collection. Also 12 pieces. I can understand crunch being slightly cooked inside but completely cooked through? If I wanted fried fish, I would have ordered that. Also the rolls..4 of them had tuna in. The rest were cooked something. This isn't sushi! Excellent delivery, right on time but what does that help when the food is substandard.

Just spent 450zar on active sushi on buitenkant and am so disappointed in the quality of food. Would not recommend to anyone from the anorexic salmon roses to the overly fishy tasting offerings and soggy rice. Ending up having to dump more than half the food.

Worst food poisoning ever experienced. Tried to contact them about it since something was definitely off about their fish when I visited. They denied that it’s impossible since they get “fresh fish” delivered daily. Their customer service is super pathetic. Their Instagram page is a joke because all they do is reply to positive comments and ignore the negative ones. Both me and my friend got sick from eating their poison but they say that it’s impossible. I hate a company that can’t own up to something and not even apologize and say they will look into it.

Last night my friends and I had an awful encounter with one of the staff members at Active Sushi on Buitenkant St. I think he was the manager or owner. The whole time we were there he was making rude comments and being blatantly racist. One of the things being, we double checked our order with him and he told us that we didn’t have to ask twice because he was not black. He also made a joke about how he’s going to have to get people to clean an extra table as we asked to move outside, all of these little comments made for a very uncomfortable and unpleasant evening as we weren’t comfortable speaking to him. I was shocked by this as I often go to the active sushi on Bree and have the best experience. This was my first time going to the active sushi on Buitenkant and I have been left extremely disappointed and will not be going back. Those type of comments should not be said no matter who you are or where you are from.

We went there for dinner on Friday night for Valentines day. We did the all you can eat special.We ordered our first plate of sushi.After that we ordered the second plate. We waited for 45 minutes without the waitress coming to us once.We were looking for her she came from outside we asked her where our sushi is and she said they haven't started our sushi yet.We were late for our next event and had to leave.She did not apologize, not once she came to us and said they haven't started the sushi or sorry that it is taking so long.We had to pay for a full all you can eat but only had one plate.This is totally unacceptable with the worst service ever.That place will never see me again and I will tell everybody I know about my disgusting experience I had.

<p>Delicious Sushi, Good service but a very misleading All You Can Eat special... My girlfriend and I went out for dinner where I asked about the special, all I was told was that it's limited to the first 2 pages of the menu and a limit on sashimi. So I went ahead and ordered a few dishes. At the end of the evening the bill came and I was charged for 2 all you can eat specials! Even though my girlfriend only had a few pieces! I was never told that! I used to love this place and have been there before with another friend where I ordered the all you can eat and they ordered a small dish and it was fine. <br />Feel very cheated and expecting a refund.</p>
