Amp warranty rubbish
They are a rubbish warranty. I have a 2011 audi q5 3.0 tdi quattro stronic with an auto gearbox. The clutch failed. They refused to pay for the clutch as they stated that the clutch has to be physically broken for them to cover it so on a R80k repair they paid R12.5k from the wear and tear cover. I overhauled the gearbox from a RMI approved workshop and paid R39k. They refused to pay for the mechatronics as they said it was not faulty. Even on the initial claim they stated that they covered it thrpugh the wear and tear cover but if they did cover only R7.5k from the clutch cover they would only pay for the clutch, they would not cover the removal and replacement of gearbox, seals, oil, solenoids(even though you cannot replqce a clutch without removing and refitting gearbox and seals and changing oil. A month later the mechatronics unit failed and damaged my clutch. The clutch is covered under the guarantee from the workshop that overhauled the gearbox but again the quote was ar34k they are only covering R24k(below the limit of the gearbox cover) -below the incl vat cost of the mechatronic unit its self. They ate not paying for the oil and labour either. Pathetic service. A few months ago they refused to pay for egr and catalytic converter replacement when the cat was full beyond ability to regenerate. I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND AMP TO ANYONE.

Most useless aftermarket warranty in SA!!
Absolutely DISGRACEFUL and DISHONEST Company! Rejecting claims because they mislead you with information, my turbo was faulty and they advised the turbo is covered to be repaired and I just need to submit the photos, fault report, quote and service history to claims. After the turbo was sent away to the repairer to get repaired and fault report was created, the turbo was fitted and all documents was submitted to claims. Then these clowns come and say and assessor wants to see the vehicle and turbo before it is repaired, but they also want a fault report before an assessor is sent?? They reject the claim because work was done before hand, and they only advised after woods about the assessor. Will not recommend this useless service and company and will never use this service again. Just a waste of money!

Amp warranty scam and money stealers
Good day today I am warning every one about AMP warranty never agree to such a warranty when you purchase a vehicle from any car dealer its just a big scam , My car broke down and was send to a car repair shop to see what broke so they informed amp warranty about my brake down so they send sumone to inspect my car and just immediately they refuse to pay for my damage and their reason is that they dont cover wear and tear but in the booklet they states that they cover wear and tear and in the back of the booklit it also states they dont (but mechanical brake down is caused by wear and tear ) so they wil never pay out any funds because their reason wil alwys be they do not cover wear and tear , my engine damage is now standing at R23000.00 toe repair al of the damage and acording to my booklit for that amount I am coverd so please do not fall for there scam and you will never get your money back.

Amp warranty claim rejected with no reason
They rejected a claim towards a car without reason besides saying the car was over boosting. Not saying why it over boosted. There was no indication of any sort to say the car was over boosting. No testing could be done to test it.
